We chose several vegetarian dishes to share. Our food arrived promptly, despite the restaurant being full, and our waiter was polite and attentive. The dishes we chose were delicious and of an adequate size that didn't leave you feeling too full or not satisfied. In particular the Naan bread was soft and not too filling.

The food is consistently good in Cafe Goa but I wish that they would move to larger premises so that they had more space and could invest in larger tables and more comfortable seating as both detract from the overall dining experience.

Veg dishes were over cooked, curries didn't have a unique taste, and tasted like slight variations of each other. I am indian and have eaten at a lot of indian eateries in Ireland definitely not going back to this one. Service was good. Location very great for footfall by the quay.

We spent 4 nights in Waterford and ate our evening meal at Cafe Goa on 3 nights. A variety of delicious dishes, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Great value for money.

The service was the best we had since arriving in Ireland. The food was fresh, served hot and had amazing flavours. Highly recommend eating at this family run restaurant.

You can tell a lot about an Indian place by the standard of the dips they serve with their poppadoms and Cafe Goa's dips promised great things to come!! The food is simply fabulous. The vegetarian options are amazing. When silence falls as soon as the food arrives, you can usually tell that it's worth it. Great value for money;... More

It's past 5pm when we walked in. It'd just opened for business. We're warmly welcomed and ushered to a table next to the window which offers a panoramic view of the water-front. It's a small restaurant but is bright and invitingly clean. The decor is contemporary, with a few Indian paintings decorating the walls. When we're ready to order, we're attended... More
