Had heard a lot about this restaurant. Visited here with friend. Seated downstairs very crowded. Had two starters of samosa and onion bhaji which were nice and then two mains of prawn curry and chicken tikka misalla, bombay aloo and naan bread with wine. They were all tasty but portions of mains were poor with plenty of sauce but small... More

Very crowded downstairs but we were seated upstairs where there was more space and a good view. Did not have a starter preferring to ensure we had room to enjoy the main course. A good idea as there was plenty. Can recommend the saag aloo, not greasy at all. We also had the mixed tandoori grill and chicken karahi with... More

My wife and I adore Indian cuisine and the restaurant had been on our list for some time. We were greeted and seated upon our arrival. We both started with Onion Baja's which were very tasty. We ordered a bottle of Australian Chardonnay which was beautifully chilled. For main course my wife had a House special Goa chicken curry and... More

My girlfriend and me are vegetarians. We ordered matar paneer, saag paneer, samosas and papadams, all for 37€. I lived three years in India and I can say that the food was very traditional. Also you can see that many indians go to this restaurant to eat, that's meaningful. The service was perfect, the waiter was fast, kind and effective and... More

We went to Cafe Goa to celebrate my sons birthday one Saturday night in February. As we walked in the restaurant was absolutely packed, the tables were on top of each other almost and the heat was uncomfortable to say the least. Thankfully we were guided to a room upstairs were there was way more room and wasn't hot and... More

We are from Wales and visit Waterford for the purpose of eating at Cafe Goa. What can I say? This Indian restaurant is the best we have ever tasted, and might I add we have eaten in more than our fair share including Atul Kulcher's restaurants. There is absolute nothing to fault apart from it being across the sea from... More
