We had a wonderful meal last week, the house smoked salmon starter was lovely, good balance of flavours and visually stunning. Mains (especially the John Dory special) and desserts were fab too! Service was spot on, friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

I have dined here many times and always enjoy the experience. The food, staff and ambience are outstanding. I always have a great night here. The creme brulee is the best I have ever eaten and have a great wine list. I organised an event here in January for 60 people. It was a great success thanks to the staff.... More

Went for a family celebration, it was so cold I ate my dinner with my coat on. Menu same for the last 3 years . Called in previously to get a gift voucher from the female proprietor and was told as I was handed it that if I lost it there would be no record , very condescending attitude, me... More

I went here with my husband and some friends. the restaurant is quite nice visually, staff were nice. However the food was disappointing, we were given some bread while waiting for our meal. It must have been cut with a laser knife it was so thinly sliced I and others in my group ordered steak. It was nothing more then a... More

La Boheme was a beautiful restaurant, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food relied on locally sourced ingredients, and the bread was made on site, and was delicious. Such a memorable evening, that we repeated it, dining there twice during our week in Waterford.

Have been here on a few occasions and cannot fault it, this resturant really is a hidden gem in Waterford. I cannot understand reviews that state it's over priced when the quality speaks for itself with the food and service . If your looking to book something for a special occasion this is the place to go in Waterford.

We went here with some family who came down from Dublin. This restaurant never fails to impress. Beautiful ambient setting. Two of us had the risotto, one the salmon starter and one the goats cheese. The goats cheese was so very light in the filo pastry. the risotto was perfectly cooked and the salmon with the crab brulee really was... More

On a family holiday to Waterford I made 7.00 dinner reservation on a Saturday night to eat here with my husband and my two year old. 30 minutes before we were to leave my toddler was sick in the hotel bar and I had to take her up to the room to clean her up and put her to bed.... More

YOU DID NOT SHOW UP FOR A RESERVATION YOU MADE AND YOU DID NOT CALL TO CANCEL, ITS THAT SIMPLE. You were not on your own, your husband was with you, he could have phoned to cancel and apologize. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. If you had been invited to dinner at a friend or family's house, and you were not going... More

Description
La Bohème Restaurant is housed in the vaults of the Georgian ‘Port of Waterford’ building – an historic property which has been associated with the local Chamber of Commerce for many years.Proprietors Christine and Eric Théze have patiently restored this magnificent space to create an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Its original flagstone floors, limewashed walls and vaulted ceilings are unique and particular to Waterford. The design of the restaurant is sympathetic to the architecture of the building, with influences of New Baroque. The restaurant combines ornate antiques and decoration with modern touches creating an eclectic, decadent interior.La Bohème is a restaurant where the pleasures of the table are in accord with the décor, blending modern delicacies with recipes passed down from generation to generation. Enjoy an aperitif at our beautiful pewter bar while perusing the menu and whetting your appetite.‘Here at La Bohème we pride ourselves in going the extra mile to give our customers a dining experience beyond comparison’
