My first time using Trip Advisor and i’m glad it happens to be for Vintage Lane! Having stumbled across this unique cafe I was warmly welcomed by the lovely staff. As a vegan, I was thankful for the options they had available and how accommodating they were to my requirements. Absolutely beautiful area and am very excited to return with my family for another fabulous coffee and tasty lunch ! Well done Vintage Lane!!!

We recently stopped off at Vintage Lane Cafe while on holiday in the area and it did not disappoint! I had the BLT and my friend got a salad, we were both equally impressed with the taste & quality of the food. Lots of delicious homemade treats on the counter with Gluten Free options so there is something for everyone.
They have a great outdoor area with plenty of seating and the staff are brilliant. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

I was travelling this morning with my three children. We were halfway through a 4 hour journey. We were really tired and hungry having skipped breakfast to get on the road. We stopped at Vintage Lane and the staff were so lovely! Chatting away, asking us about our day. Interacting with my teenagers....a mean feat on its own. We had stopped a few times over the years on the way to Sligo, Galway and Longford.
We had four cooked Irish breakfasts, tea, juice and a deliciously hot and strong americano.
The price was so reasonable and we were grateful not to be ripped off as a family of four. I can highly recommend vintage lane, I seldom write reviews.
Thank you to the owners, kitchen staff and front of house people. Until next time.....

This cafe is on a route that a travel quite regularly and I was so delighted to see it back open again. The food is always top class along with the service. One of my favorites on the menu is the their breakfast and any of their beautiful homemade bakes with a cup of coffee! Such a lovely atmosphere in here and fab decor. Looking forward to sopping here again very soon.

After a busy morning of under-7 GAA coaching, I decided to treat my kids (and myself) to lunch.
We rocked up to VLC and were lucky to snap up a table outside such was the demand.
The service was outstanding. As a single dad with two small boys, it’s not often you get such a warm reception from a café. They were patient, accommodating, and, best of all, good humoured. What a welcome!
The food was delicious. Freshly made BLT and a chicken Pesto wrap. One word. Devoured!
I had a flat white that was so good I had to have a second - which left me understandably wired for the afternoon. But worth it.
Best of all were the brownies. Dangerously good. I mean it. Yum. My sons were supposed to share theirs with me. Crumbs. That’s all I got. I can’t blame them.
Overall, 5 stars. Lovely to finish with a stroll around the market afterward. It really felt like we had experienced something special.
Great work, Vintage Lane Cafe 💪

Vintage Cafe just outside Sligo is a wonderful spot. Ciaran the chef, produces quality nutritious food. The soup had a sprinkling of pesto and nuts, which was sensational. The outdoor dining is covered offering protection from the rain. In a pandemic we found it very difficult to find nice food on the road, but Ciaran provided a wonderful experience.

A well-run eaterie in Benbulben Craft Village. Ample parking to the right as you turn in either before or after Sligo. Homemade food. There well after lunch but still enjoyed a bowl of potato and leek soup (delicious, reminded me of tins of Granny's Potato and Leek I had as a child) and wheaten. Hubby had a Tuna Sandwich on Brown and salad which could have had a little dressing and seasoning on it to be fair, but the pesto dip was fresh and punchy. Funky menu with Gluten Free, Vegan and Veggie options. Thoroughly recommend for healthy food or coffee and homemade cake while travelling. Always great to support local business. Very clean toilets too.

What can I say...from the word 'go', my experience of Vintage Lane has been 5-star! I had to organise a little outing for some older friends of mine recently. Some of them had particular access needs so I had to ring ahead to check out the gaffe, as it were. I always need to do this, when planning outings for my group. However, I can honestly say that Kate and Connor in Vintage Lane were so incredibly attentive to my queries and concerns from the start. They even rang me back a couple of times before I brought my group out to fine-tune certain details and suggest extra things we could enjoy whilst in Branley's yard. They reassured me that their venue was amply accessible by motorised wheelchair and they even checked out other premises in Branley's Yard to let me know what would be additionally possible for my group to enjoy. (For example, there is a wonderful pottery, an antique shop and art gallery all on campus there).
They were on hand at our arrival to welcome us in their quaint and charming premises. Parking was ample, free and handy. Our table was reserved for us inside and laid out with exquisite dainty china which my older ladies absolutely LOVED. There were fresh scones baking as we entered. Kate and her team were all so patient and kind. They were just fantastic at making us feel right at home and giving us the best and most personable service possible. There was loads of banter and laughter, which is one of the best ingredients you can find in any coffee shop. We enjoyed sandwiches, toasties, sweet treats and the most yummy crunchy scones I've had in ages. Food was tasty, well-presented and keenly priced. All my gang went away happy. I cannot express how very grateful I am to Kate, Connor and the entire team for our beautiful experience. Though the day was moodily lashing down with heavy showers of rain, there was more than enough sunny disposition in Vintage Lane Cafe to make up for it. I heartily recommend!

Had a wonderful lunch here. The BLT was amazing. On the salad was the best ever pesto (vegan pesto no less). There were several options for vegans and meat eaters I can definitely recommend this place. Lovely food and service 🤤🤩🤤

A return visit to this uniquely pleasant cafe - at least that was our original experience! We were not disappointed. Despite the punishing restrictions imposed by the pandemic, Ciaran and his lovely staff have maintained that beautiful ambience that Vintage Lane exudes especially when the Sun shines! Despite these hurdles, the delicious food and service on offer is as good as ever.
Thank you Vintage Lane for making our day!

Came here for lunch and cafe was nearly empty. We ordered a simple order of 3 wraps. We were the only order in the kitchen, however it took over 20 minutes for our food to come. We could see the chef standing around talking and laughing while we were waiting. We noticed that other customers who arrived after us also waited ages for their food.
There was no apology from the staff about the slow service. The food was average but nothing amazing, chef forgot the pesto in one of the wraps.
Disappointed as it is a really cute cafe but won't be back 🙁

Terrific place for lunch or other small plates. A bit hard to find, in a small group of shops on the roadside, the Vintage Lane is a gem. Homemade soups, salads, and “sammys” all look attractive. She had a tuna salad sandwich; I had a chicken salad. Both perfectly fresh and delicious. Same with coffee and hot chocolate. Stop there; you’ll be happy you did.

Stopped here for coffee around 3.00 pm and was surprised to find that they had no scones left and in fact had hardly anything left at all and we were lucky to get the last 2 cup cakes . Nice seating outside . Enjoyed the wee antique and craft shops beside the cafe.

I have been to this fine friendly and foodie haven on many occasions. A great place to meet up with friends and family. Always happy with the food service and charm of this hidden gem in Yeats Country. It was the Gluten Free Brownie I had on this day that blow me away! The texture flavour and shire delightful tastiness of it was wonderful. I had to say to one of the girls working here how sensational it was! I didn’t get the magic recipe but I will be back very soon with my fellow friends to enjoy the gastronomical sensations in Vintage Lane. Thank you all for the friendly and genuine service you are a great team. :)
