We came here for a quick lunch on a rainy day. The menu is interesting and very varied. Some of us had the soup which was deemed delicious and others had the 'special' pasty. The pasty was not special and very small. However they do do ice things here so it would not put me off - I would just... More

The Creel Cafe was recommended to me by a friend who lives locally and adores this quirky little spot, im so glad i took her advice and visited! There is something for everyone here from a varied board of fantastic hot daily specials (all homemade i was assured..the shepherds pie was a particular favourite) to amazing and filling gourmet sandwiches... My partner and I have visited The Creel o0n a few occasions over the last couple of weeks and we cant`t get enough! Amazing coffee, cakes along with gourmet sandwiches and delicious mains served in a relaxing setting with some of the friendliest and happy staff we have come across. Even when busy, nothing is ever any trouble to them.

Food is really tasty! The service is a complete and utter let down! So many waitresses but no direction from management! It would be of benefit for staff to be assigned to a particular section of the restaurant! Customers were sitting there for ages waiting to order including us! Feel that staff need a personality! Customer service is so important... More

Camembert and spinach tart with a side salad for lunch left me feeling hungry.Tart was delicious but the very small salad was not enough to satisfy. For €10.50 I would expect at least two if not three salads to come with the tart. My friend had soup which arrived with one slice of bread. She had to ask for a... More

Absolutely terrible service. We were seated and left for over 10 minutes without a menu, which we asked for. Eventually a waitress came to take our order and then gave us one menu between two. Ordered the chowder (which was ok) and a chicken and black pudding dish. My GF ordered a fish main course, asked for sauce on the... More

On a cold November afternoon this was almost full. Very popular with visitors and locals and those in the know. Great means, salads, sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee or something stronger. Friendly service and very competitive prices.

The Creel is one of those finds that keeps you coming back. The layout is welcoming, the staff are always friendly, the coffee is divine and the cakes superb. I always stop, either alone or with friends, for a coffee and something to eat everything I visit Westport. The Creel never disappoints. So make time to visit and relax
