They serve breakfast all day which is great especially if you’re not a morning person who likes to have breakfast in the afternoon. They have great coffee as well. Me and my girlfriend visited cuppa joes for lunch time we went and In got seated and all was well. The lady serving was nice and we ordered pancakes and the breakfast bap and a hot chocolate and a white hot chocolate. It didn’t take...long for the food to come down but… So the pancakes were clearly microwaved as we use the same ones in my workplace so i know exactly what they were like the were very soggy and hard in places but I still eat them because I don’t like to complain and don’t like to make a fuss , the bap was advertised as a floury bap and it came as a whole meal bap which isn’t too big of a deal , but the bap was stale ,very little sauce inside the rashers were like stones and the sausages were fine , there was also bits of green onion stuck to the bottom of the bap, we didn’t eat any of it so we decided we weren’t going to pay for it because it was literally inedible The white hot chocolate was just hot milk and marshmallows we both tried it and it wasn’t pleasant , my hot chocolate was fine. We have never complained in a place before but what happened next took us too the edge of walking out We expected to be checked on by our server and that we were okay for everything but nobody came. The restaurant cleared to about 1/4 capacity so at this time they were not under any pressure what so ever, we made STERN eye contact with EVERY member of staff Many many times in there and we’re constantly ignored , we were surrounded by dirty tables so we thought that they would clear them and then we could talk to them about the food. I believe they knew we didn’t eat the bap and ignored us because of it , this continued for half an hour and we were on the verge of walking out because we were INVISIBLE to them anyways. I got fed up and walked to the manager and asked to pay , I politely tried to explain our situation that the bap was inedible and that we would only pay for what we ate which would be just 1/2 the food which I believe to be fair. The manager interrupted me and told me to GET OUT in front of the whole restaurant, he kept saying get out get out get out and shooed me away from him, I turned and explained that I wanted to pay for the pancakes but he still said get out , me and my girlfriend then left the restaurant absolutely Appalled from his behaviour , I’ve never been treated by a member of staff so badly .More
The staff were amazing. In particular one lady who calmed me three yr old and gabe him free taytos and juice while waiting for his lunch. She was very nice and made my day .
Service was good and fast. The tables outside weren’t wiped down, which usually wouldn’t bother me but in the middle of a pandemic they just need to be a little bit more careful. The food was fine, we got bagels and soup. I would recommend...but cleanliness could be a little better!More
We called here for a light breakfast. We entered from the Car Park side. A friendly welcome and social distancing in action. We both had the breakfast special, it was vey tasty and very good value. Stopped for a takeaway coffee before hitting the road back to Dublin. Staff were friendly and took the orders and we waited. It wasn’t until we got back to the car that I tried the coffee, and it was awful. Got an Americano, black with...no sugar, and it was tasteless. I like to support local businesses but next time I’d be buying from a franchise before coming back here. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t try any. Please try changing up the beans.More
We stopped at Cuppa Joe's for a light afternoon bite. The place was reasonable busy but we were seated straight away. I had the Italian Chicken Panini and Soup which was the special of the day and it was really good. Visited with my partner for lunch, the food was OK. The owners dealings with staff was extremely poor, the same staff member he called out several times in front of customers. He also shouted over customers at other staff members while serving customers at the...till area. And there was no friendly atmosphere in the restaurant,even though there was a high turnover of customers. It felt like you were just a number. I certainly will not be going back.More
I was in Castlebar for 2 weeks for work nearby. I visited cuppa Joe's most days. Joe is fab! So friendly and accommodating (thanks for the photos Joe!) . He has gluten free options. Great for take away tea and cake as well. Definitely recommend...a visit here!More

Walked into the place which seemed busy and was greeted by a nice young server, however upon ordering it was a complete joke an order that came in bits, soup arrived (lukewarm) while my partner had to wait and watch me eat for his wrap,...tea arrived and shortly afterward my latte 🙈 the place cleared out fast as “lunch rush” was over no one checked usMore

Staff are always super friendly and helpful. Coffee is great and there is a great selection of lunch items to choose from. Nice selction of deserts and sweet treats too!
On a road trip to Connemara and parched for a cuppa we diverted into town to find a bite to eat. It was mid morning on a Sunday and the town was pretty much deserted. Obviously everyone was in Cuppa Joe’s as the place was...hopping! Brilliant service and we couldn’t believe the menu prices! So reasonable. We had a breakfast toastie and a cream cheese bagel with tea and latte. Our wait was short but the food was really good and both came with a little salad with a gorgeous dressing and coleslaw. Fantastic service, tasty food and brilliant value for money. No wonder it was packed!More
