We stayed at the Harlequin for 4 days, since it was close to the hospital where my husband had to go to work. The location is very ideal anyway, because just adjacent to it is the Shaws, Boots etc. Opposite to the hotel is Next and Mc donalds. Hence the eat outs and shopping is very accessible. The hotel itself... More

A wet windy afternoon in Castlebar, wanted somewhere warm to have a light lunch. Restaurant was warm nicely decorated and bright. Had chicken and bacon wrap my sister had goats cheese with pesto and sundried tomato and it was fab. Very reasonably priced with tea and chips or salad included. Free wifi too. We arrived into town late and decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had prawns to start with chilli followed by pork and chicken both of which were lovely. We would eat here again without a problem.

Had dinner and breakfast in the Harlequin Restaurant, and both meals were excellent. You can see the chefs at work, and it is fascinating to watch how everything is put together. It is a bit crowded when tours are at the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel and had no gripe at all with the room which we regarded as five star. However, the Harlequin Restaurant is trying to be something it can't achieve. I don't believe that the vast majority of hotel guests are looking for this type of food, we dined here only because the weather was so foul. The... More

We made a last minute booking for nine people and we were accommodated in a few minutes. There are lots of nice choices on the menu and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The service was efficient and not at all intrusive.

Staying in hotel, food was second to none quality and quantity. Would like to see more variety on menu for the set deals but other than that no complaints
