Had the seafood chowder and it was devine. My friend had the crab claws and they were delicious too. Great view of King john's castle at night. Lovely guinness and irish coffees too

Excellent seafood and salad ,very large portions too .the view is lovely sitting outside ,the river Shannon is right in front.I would definitely recommend it

A hidden gem in Limerick for food and such a brilliant pub also. I love this place and even though its a few minutes walk from city centre its definitely worth the short stroll over the shannon. Myself and my husband visited here on Friday evening with our travelling friends. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly bar man although he did not take our order for another few minutes due to the volume of people. Popped in for a couple of drinks, Guinness as ever very nice. A couple of our group had some food which looked good. Good service and staff friendly.

I've only stepped in here on recommendation from a work colleague. I stay over at least two nights in most weeks. Definitely the tastiest Fish and Chip iv ever eaten normally im not gone on chunky chips but these are cooked to perfection. The tar tar sauce is very nice, the fish was battered perfectly lovely crispy taste. Herself got the burger she loved it also. Will be back

The place is small and not that "nice" in decor, but the food is though being basic very nice and the servings are quite large.
