What a beautiful place this is. Eight of us visited last weekend for afternoon tea as part of a special occasion. Ed was looking after us and was so attentive and friendly. The selection of teas were extensive. The sandwiches were very tasty with delicious scones and a gorgeous selection of cakes. We couldn't finish it all and Ed kindly... More

Popped in for breakfast decided on the mixed berry scone & a latte. This place is a little gem here in Kilkenny. Lovely selection of food. Staff are lovely and friendly.

This place is beautiful with an amazing aesthetic interior with ornate gilded paintings and cute crockery. Their berry and lemon drizzle scones are lovely and the location is perfect very near to mcdonagh junction.

Frequent here regularly Had the cherry and coconut slice with cup of coffee. Cake was extremely light and very tasty. Fist time trying this cake. Nice selection of freshly made in house cakes and bakes and a full breakfast and dinner menu.

We've called in for lunch a couple of times here, with the baby grandson in his buggy alongside the table. The staff have been very helpful and attentive, and found a high-chair for us without being asked. It can be a tiny bit crowded if you choose the wrong table but we had plenty of space. The menu is fresh... More

Stopped in for a quick coffee during our travels in Kilkenny and is by far one of the most beautiful places I've been in a long time. The decor is stunning with vintage teacups lining the walls and old style paintings. The coffee is exceptional if you're interested in a proper americano and the nibbles they have on offer are... This place serves the best coffee in Kilkenny. The food is extremely fresh and I must say delicious. There is clearly someone who knows flavour in the kitchen. Portions are generous. The staff are delightful. One fellow named Ed has looked after us for months with a smile and genuine interest. He is a cheeky bugger but we keep going... More

We had heard about this tea room on the grapevine and had to give it a try. It's tucked away in a quiet spot, off the beaten track but worth the effort. We were greeted by a very friendly man who everyone seemed to know and referred to as Ed. He was pleasant, friendly and had great eye contact. We... More
