I drove up to Josie's on a wet windy day, unsure if it would even be open. It was! I was welcomed in and offered tea right away. The view was beautiful from the dining area which is enclosed in glass and also had a...More

The sign on the through road said 2km up the turnoff to Josie's: it seemed an awfully long 2km but is well worth the effort of taking. Josie's is really a B&B that runs a cafe in what appears to be the B&B's breakfast room:...More

Great cozy restaurant, was just around the corner from our cottage. We were the only customers at the moment. Simple, but excellently made seafood, and a very nice view. All was done in minutes.

While driving the Ring of Beara we kept seeing signs for Josie's, so we decided to give it a try. In a word, wonderful. It's about 4km off the main road, and the drive back can get a bit narrow, but wow, what a beautiful...More

Very pleasant little restaurant set back in the hills from the main roads. Food was good - we recommend the rack of lamb. Staff had a very authentic local air about them. Pretty view of the lake and hillside.

In good weather if you can sit outside I would think this is ok but inside on a wet day the food did not make up for it. Sorry very average

Came here as a family passing through the area. Friendly staff, happy to help and fussy eaters were accommodated for. Really enjoyed our meal, could have stayed longer looking out at the beautiful view had we not had onward travel

We drove the Healy Pass and saw a few signs for Josie's Tea Room. Down a few country roads but worth the drive! Gorgeous view of the lake, delicious fresh food, worth the drive!

We decided to come here after having seen the sign on the Healy Pass Road so many times... It's out of the way, not served by any major road - you have to come because you want to eat here. The fact that the place...More
