Nice food, reasonably priced, felt safe in Covid-19 era

We had lunch here as the menu looked interesting and the prices were reasonable. We were very happy with the set-up in the Covid-19 era - sanitiser readily available, booth seating means you are separated from other customers, staff wore either masks or shields. The food was tasty, nothing super amazing but tasted nice, obviously cooked fresh. The staff were as friendly as can be these days when they can't really loiter to chat, etc. Recommended if in the area.

Delicious food!

We recently visited Killarney and having been enticed by the menu we made a booking in Robs ranch. We had a table in a quiet corner, all guidelines were followed by staff and people were well spaced out. It made for a very comfortable and safe atmosphere. The food was delicious. We were both very happy with our choices. Would definitely recommend Robs ranch, for good food in a relaxed environment

Disappointing

On a visit to killarney with family we precooked a booth in robs ranch because the menu looked good and had options for a child with dairy &egg allergy and also it gave the impression of being a good place for the overall dining experience. While the food was good and the lady who took our order was nice, everything else left us very disappointed. The lady who I assume was a manager was not at all friendly. We were seated a table that was more suited for 4 (there were 6 of us). Once our food came we were pretty much forgotten about. When someone came to clear our mains l, I asked if I could take away the remaining fajitas as they were lovely but I was full. She took one plate from our table and never returned. Nobody asked if we wanted desert and going to approach the manager type lady she turned away. We ended up eventually going to the desk to pay, leaving the food that was to be taken away at the table and not bothering with desert or more drinks. We never did get the booth to eat in or the overall enjoyment of the experience. I wouldn't recommend it at all really.

Overpriced, hit and miss.

Went down for dinner with a couple of friends. The food received was presented nicely however the taste did not follow. The wings had a bit of spice to it but they were lacking any bit of taste atal. The chicked burger meat was a bit dry and was half the size of the bun, the beef burger was onky average. The steak was defrosted and tasted like taking a bite of a shoe. We were highly disappointed in the wait time between courses (25mins once starters were cleared) however defrosting the steak might have had something to do with it. To top it all and what brought me to writing the review was the bill. Onky spotted it when we got home and were transgerring money to eachother, there was a charge of €2 for a tiny chilli dip. Now if the waitress told me abiut the charge I would have still orderred it however lack of communication with the customer and still outting it on the bill seems a bit rude. My girlfriend also just told me the lamp shade above our table was full of cob webs and was not appetizing... A lot of points to brush up on. Staff were lovely, they just need to be more customer focused and attendative towards their tables. Prices average. (€26 for defrosted steak)

Don't go there.

Myself and my Family went there yesterday and to say it was disappointing was a understatement , I had the chicken Goujons and on the menu says it is chicken covered in butter milk batter , it was just Goujons out of a bag . The Fajitas were not even in Fajitas covering just a runny packet sauce . Everything we got was very obviously out of a packet or box no cooking needed or a chef . When I spoke to the Manager she was rude and said that none of the food was made by the cook and that they never advertised it was home made . Now that would be ok if they were charging very cheap prices but they were charging a premium for crap food . . so disappointing , only advise is don't go there.

Terrible tasteless food

Chose here to eat today for a family of 4. We chose nachos, a pasta dish, sore ribs and the chicken burger and all of them terrible. You would make better yourself at home. Nachos had no beef and when they were sent back, they came back out with beef on them but then when half way through eating them, the poor embarrassed waitress infoed us that the charge was double for them! Pasta was soggy and over cooked and the ribs were tasteless. All food was cold too, would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! 🤢

Having a meal with my friends

Starter was good and filling well maybe not the wings they tasted fake. But nachos were good. The two burgers were average fajita was good and kinder Buenos was good. The steak!!!! Worst steak ever it was defrosted and cooked like a shoe even tho I wanted a medium rare dont recommend. The servis was shocking took them an hour for the main course and 40 minutes for starters and drinks. Price wise it's stupid expensive for what you get. Mcdonalds is better and fresher.

Family Lunch

Four of us had lunch there the past week and can honestly say the burgers were the best we've ever eaten. Chips were kept hot in a heated dish and the fancy milkshakes went down a treat with the kids. Staff were attentive and polite and couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be dining there again.

Fake Chicken

We went here yesterday as it received some good reviews on this app. We both ordered the Chicken wings for starters and the beef burger and chips for the mains. The burger was OK in fairness but the chips were nothing to write home about. The chicken wings are horrible, you know that really fake tasking cheap chicken you can get in some Chinese.. Just like that. For the price I would expect it to be better. Won't be returning Won't be back

Great restaurant with a very good gluten free menu

Robs Ranch House is located very central in Killarney and a good place to visit. The menu is quite huge and the gluten free menu is brilliant. The burgers have been very delicious and the staff was good informed about all the items - even in the ketchup! We can recommend the restaurant to 100%.

Great food

So good the first night we paid a second visit while in Killarney. Everything from the ribs, chicken wings, chips to the caesar salad were fine with large portions. Friendly staff great place to eat

Four adults, three kids

Had the pleasure of eating here this evening after the Christmas parade. We went there because it was suggested as a family friendly restaurant when we looked for nearby eateries. Have to say we were all very pleasantly surprised. The kids loved the Wild West theme. The staff were lovely, and the menu quite extensive. They catered for everything from meat eaters, to gluten free, to vegan and vegetarian. Most extensive gluten free menu I have seen. The burgers were huge and very tasty, nicely dressed and presented. I couldn't possibly finish mine. All in all a very pleasant experience for everyone in the group. Definitely going there again. Would even do the hours drive there for the food. Well done staff, keep up the good work 😊

Pizza’s and Burgers in Killarney

Had dinner here with family on holidays in Killarney. Pizza’s and burgers went down a treat and the sourdough garlic bread! Seated in a booth for four which we could see was thoroughly sanitized before we were seated. Friendly staff. I would recommend booking a table. I would return.

Disappointment

Was excited to go here as the concept is great. Honestly I would not be recommending to anyone for the food. But I will say I had the Kinder milkshake and it was the best milkshake I have ever had, I would simply go back for the milkshake but I would never eat there again unfortunately. Wings were smothered in bbq sce but it did not taste nice and chips/onion rings were overcooked and very greasy. Literally felt so greasy and queasy from the food. Steak was nice, meat was cooked nicely and pepper sce was lovely but ranch burger was also disappointing, sce was terrible, and dont even start me on the so called salad. OVERALL DISAPPOINTING For food. But would recommend a Milkshake.

Get the very basics right

Nice concept and could be a real winner. They need to get the very basics right, if you order starters and mains they need to be served separately !!!!! Our starters were just served by one of the staff and literally 1 minute later a different member of staff arrive with the main course. I noticed the surprised look on her face as she approached the table and she done an about turn swiftly. She obviously returned to the kitchen but must have been told to serve them because she was back within a minute. By the time we finished the starter's the main course was cold. Would not recommend it.
