While touring Claddagh and Galway City, I noticed this little restaurant at the Spanish Arch. They serve lunch from noon to 3:30 PM. Their Summer Lunch Menu listed many interesting dishes, including some gluten-free options. I ordered the Quinoa Super Salad, consisting of Halloumi, roast cauliflower, mint, almonds, and cauliflower fritter. I topped it off with a carafe of peppermint... More

We really enjoyed our lunch there. Service was perfect- contrary to what some of the other tripadvisor reviewers have said. The comment we have: Tripadvisor incorrectly classified this venue as Spanish cuisine. This is because the restaurant is located in the Spanish Arch and tripadvisor has a bug. So don't expect Spanish food and you'll have a great time here!

Not the type of place I expected to find in Galway, but a wonderful surprise nonetheless. Eclectic but tasteful and cozy atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly service, a creative menu, and a nice wine selection. But the brightest spot is certainly the food - absolutely delicious and an interesting mix of local and foreign ingredients, dishes, and flavors. I highly recommend... More

This restaurant came highly recommended by the owners of the B&B we stayed at. It is small, and does get crowded. Reservations in advance are a good idea. We were able to eat at the bar. Great food!

Dined with a friend last night. Bill total €93 euro, included 4 glasses of wine but no starters or extra veg (which is approx €4). We shared a dessert. We enjoyed our food - steak & hake but the staff never smiled or made us feel welcome, just told us the time they needed the table back. Also discovered when... More

Food was very tasty, Simple stuff and home cooked flavours. No fuss in decor etc but stress on local seasonal stuff is amazing. If you are in galway, not to be missed. And the lovely spanish arch.

I was travelling alone and sometimes it's hard to find a good place to eat, but I felt relaxed and enjoyed tasty foods, and it was not expensive.

I was only there for brunch but the food was outstanding. Busy, quaint, and right on the waterfront. Service was efficient as the staff had little time for pleasantries but no complaints. The french toast was fantastic. Coffee delish! Highly recommend. Went back the following day but they didn't open till late (10:00am??)
