Passed this restaurant many times over the years and for some reason I had it in my head that this was some pokey run down place. Over Christmas I met a friend there. All I can say is FANTASTIC FOOD and FANTASTIC STAFF. Had the club sandwich, best I've had in Galway. So reasonably prices. Highly Recommended.

Great café down by the canal. Really good prices too, probably some of the best value in Galway. Could easily spend a few hours in the spacious main space, but there's also a quiet room in the back open to customers who prefer a quieter cup of coffee.

This cafe is one of the gems of Galway City. Whether you want some quite down time or meeting with friends or family, just coffee or some more substantial there is literally something for you. The environment is welcoming and cosy and staff are friendly and helpful. *thumbs up*

Lovely spot for a simple meal on a budget with super friendly staff! Good coffee too! Oddly enough this is also a good spot if you want to hear some American accents as there are some American students who do a short-term work abroad placement here.

I loved this cafe while visiting Galway this summer! The staff was always so friendly. My favorite part was how spacious and clean it was. You kinda just wanted to stay there all day. Plus they have the best Hazelnut Latte I have ever had!! A definite when visiting Galway!

I love this cafe the staff are so friendly and the prices are so reasonable. Great for a lunch with friends or a coffee and one their famous cookies. They also have a quite room in the back which is nice when the cafe is busy.

I was here in March of 2016 for a family trip and it was an amazing visit! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I have yet to try a white mocha that beats An Tobar Nua's! Definitely going back the next time I am in Galway!
