The third time you come here, you already feel like a local! That's all you need, great beers and even better people behind the taps. Alsoooo, if you're like me and you can't even make up your mind when there's only a choice of five beers; worry not! The staff will surely find something to please your taste buds among... More

Visited on a misty Irish afternoon along the bay and was greeted warmly by an attentive staff. Had a wide selection of beers on tap but was swayed by the knowledge of our server on the bars own micro brew which was called Full Sail IPA. Ordered fish and chips and was rewarded with a chrispy and flaky presentation that... More

Dropped in here on a cold Tuesday night in January - friendly welcome. Only one waitress but boy did she work hard ... service was excellent. Food lovely & plenty of it. Would go again.

We ate here 3 nights and were not disappointed. Very casual dining after a busy day sightseeing. We enjoyed trying the different beers.

Great little microbrew with good food which a little different from typical Irish fair. Lots of beverages to try and good quality. Definitely worth checking out.

The choice of Galway Bay beers is reason enough to visit this pub, however the food is excellent too, even the music isn't too bad at all. Got great advice on what beer to try next from two separate members of staff and both choices were excellent. The club sandwich and pulled pork were also great and pretty reasonable. Only... More

Myself and my husband have just enjoyed a gorgeous lunch here. I had the club sandwich and he had the pulled pork burger! The food was top notch and the girl serving it was so friendly. My husband loves craft beers so he was in his element!! I would recommend this bar to anyone visiting Salthill or Galway!

Description
The Oslo Bar in Salthill boasts the first and only Microbrewery in Galway which offers a great range of international beers, fresh food and a variety of novel evenings. With an ever changing menu the Oslo keeps people coming back to enjoy the many creative dishes inspiried by "in-season and fresh" ingredents. There is a wide range of international beers but while there you should try our own Bay Ale and Stormy Porter - brewed right on the premises. The front portion contains a comfortable range of eclectic furniture and the back part, set up with German beer garden style sturdy tables. The name Oslo itself comes from the Oslo Hotel which once encompassed the whole premises.Focused on food with a daily menu served from 12 until 10 daily. Select from a good range of interesting dishes. Enjoy the Weekend with brunch including Eggs Benedict and French toast which has fast become something of a Galway institution. An open fire and large comfortable smoking area tick a few more boxes making the Oslo a really great destination.
