Acapulco restaurant is by far the best Mexican in Dublin. The restaurant itself is as authentic as you can find outside of Mexico -beautiful decor and furniture turn this place into a cosy and atmospheric gem! The staff when I was there (particularly Martin and Sue) were absolutely impeccable in their service. Smiles all round and not wanting for anything... More

Having been happy with a meal here in December we returned last Friday night. The place was hopping so that should be a good sign. The combo for two was just ok, really just a selection of deep fried stuff. They brought the wrong main out for my son initially. My hubby had a chicken chimichanga which was tasteless and... More

Waiters are highly skilled at avoiding your gaze and are a little rude, food was good but the attitude of those working there had a negative effect on our evening

During a recent visit to Dublin and after several days of Mexican fare, the idea of Mexican food was a welcome change. This was not the place for anything even resembling Mexican food. The "Mexican rice" was bland and dry and tasted like Uncle Ben's made in the microwave. The "tacos" were cold when they came out and the "Chipotle... More

I have been here on one occasion and while the location is good, the food wasn't very impressive (and so said my friends). It was ok quality, but nothing extraordinary about the food from a taste perspective. There are better Mexican places in the city for sure.

Went to Acapulco in December. Really bad service, took 45 minutes without warning, to get food, food basic, options limited and zero vegan options, got a margarita cocktail, couldn't drink it, asked waiter to take it off the bill since it was undrinkable and untouched, he brought manager over who was really rude and told us that their margaritas are... We called here on a Thursday night without reservation and were lucky to get a seat as the place was very busy. We did have to wait a while for our drinks to come however were rewarded with an apology and the waiter who brought over to us two excellent margarita cocktails as ordered and what I assume must have... We enjoyed our meal here, service was quick and it was quiet and relaxed. We arrived quite late but this didn't matter as we were served good food in good time. We really enjoyed the fresh lemonade as well. The price was cheaper than a lot of the places nearby. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

The chimichanga I had and my boyfriend's chilli del diablo were amazing (well, apart from the rice which seemed to be from a package), the two margaritas we had were probably one of the best margarotas I had, the staff is a bit overwhelmed by the customers I'd say. We asked for a dessert menu, waited for 40 mins and... More
