The food is very stodgy and not up to the standard I had grown to expect of this Restaurant and Bar. The Manager was unhelpful and seemed more intent on getting me to eat my food quickly and leave than to enjoy it in an orderly way.

Had nice end of week lunch here today.Plenty of space around to park. Got in just after 12.30..nice and cosy inside, out of the wind and rain. Clean and friendly environment. Typical carvery grub thats exactly what it says on the tin... Choices today included;Roast Beef,Roast Pork,Loin bacon & Panfried chicken. Friends had Pork,I had chicken...plenty of Veg & Potato... Three of us in total and all had the Carvery which was excellent. Choice of Pork,Ham and Beef. Between us we all had one or two of these and no complaints. All very lean. Beef was exceptional. My only criticism is that the waiting staff could have been a little more attentive. But this would not stop me from revisiting.

We arranged lunch for 20 friends and relatives. Everyone agreed the food and service were exceptional. All dishes were enjoyable and well presented. We will definitely return to the Millhouse when we are in the area.

Tried the carvery lunch and it was ok. Its standard fare with the usual suspects fish, pork, burger and cremated roast beef which is the standard carvery lunch. Portions were adequate. The place is well maintained and has a wheel chair ramp. Its not cheap and there are other places in Stillorgan offering better value. Car parking is free.

We went there on a Wednesday evening and I still can't get over that it wasn't packed. They have an early bird menu but we were too late for that. It has stiff competition in Stillorgan but it more than holds its own when it comes to food quality and value We had two starters, two mains with sides and... More

Had dinner there last Saturday evening. My wifes salmon was very good but my sirloin steak looked good but tasted awful. Service was good if a bit amateurish. This restaurant used to serve excellent when run by the pub owners but since being out sourced it has deteriorated.

Very nice restaurant near Temple Bar. Went here two nights in the week. Service was amazing though staff a little late in responding to second night dessert. Had fish and chips the first night and was stuffed before my 2 fish. Second night I had beef burger. Nice but was very hard to get your teeth round and patty kept... More

We called in here on evening on spec, wasn't expecting anything much but my goodness, we were in for a very pleasant surprise! We were greeted and seated promptly with menus to scan. My husband went for the lamb rump with garlic potatoes while I had a burger with red onion jam and fries. Everything was nicely presented and tasted... More
