Kinara has been in this location for many years. While other restaurants change, open, close, this jewel has remained steadfast. The early bird is very good value and booking is advisable. Ask for a table upstairs and take in the lovely sea views. This dining area has held onto the ambience of the original old house and is really relaxing... More

I'll keep it short as Kinara does not need more good reviews. The 2 week booking list and 60 people turned away at the door speaks for itself. But the food is awesome. F you like Pakistani / Indian / Nepalese food, this is probably the best in Ireland. It is mouthwatering. Try the marinated sliced beef for starters. And... More

The best Indian/Pakistani food, service and surroundings you'll get in Dublin. It's my favourite restaurant and the food is just divine. Once you've eaten there you'll be 'hooked'!

A bit difficult to review this place. It is definitely not your average curry house, and the prices reflect that. It is fair to say that what we ordered was delicious and generous. However, I did not feel comfortable for some strange reason. I think this was due to attitude of the lady serving us, whose accent was a little... More

Visited here on a Thursday afternoon in March for a birthday lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food and service was good. I had Garlic Prawns to start and Beef Korma for mains, both enjoyable. One thing I would mention is that when you walk up to the restaurant, what looks like the door is actually not a door and some people... More

I attended a business lunch here for the first time recently, and many of my colleagues had been previously, with very positive reviews. The location was lovely, overlooking Dublin Bay, but most importantly - the food was superb. Every dish that arrived to the table got a big thumbs up, and service was very good too. Recommended for families, couples,... More

Kinara has a wonderful reputation and yes..the food is fabulous but very expensive. If you go for the a la carte menu, everything is extra. We felt that this restaurant has got a bit complacent with its customer service based on our last visit. It was a very busy Saturday night and we could only get a booking at 9pm... More

A quiet birthday celebration for a family table of four. The food did not disappoint - lots of flavour, fresh, and hot. The waitress was cold, not engaging, and almost rude. Seating on upper floor, meant a staircase to toilet (only 2 - though clean), so if mobility - let them know on booking. Not a warm ambience for us,... More

Went here based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. Food was some of the best I've ever tasted. Great combination of Indian and Pakistani and good wine/beer selection. Spent 10 days in India last year and food was on a par with the best I had there. Number 130 bus takes you there from city centre
