Kinara has a wonderful reputation and yes..the food is fabulous but very expensive. If you go for the a la carte menu, everything is extra. We felt that this restaurant has got a bit complacent with its customer service based on our last visit. It was a very busy Saturday night and we could only get a booking at 9pm... More

A quiet birthday celebration for a family table of four. The food did not disappoint - lots of flavour, fresh, and hot. The waitress was cold, not engaging, and almost rude. Seating on upper floor, meant a staircase to toilet (only 2 - though clean), so if mobility - let them know on booking. Not a warm ambience for us,... More

Went here based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. Food was some of the best I've ever tasted. Great combination of Indian and Pakistani and good wine/beer selection. Spent 10 days in India last year and food was on a par with the best I had there. Number 130 bus takes you there from city centre

Myself and my family had a most wonderful meal here the other night. We all enjoyed the food which was served piping hot and was so delicious. Our waitress was a lovely lady with such a fantastic attitude and smile that helped make the night memorable and special. I think her name was Syeda! I am sure she said she... More

- Dishes were not well done, were just overloaded with Spices. - The palak (spinach) in palak paneer was not blended the way it should be. It did not mix along with the paneer to call it a dish. - Prawn dishes are extremely overpriced for the 3 pieces of medium sized prawns you receive in quite a spicy sauce.... More

Had a wonderful experience with 11 of us celebrating a birthday, so opted for the Sunday lunch menu which finished at 4. 2 courses plus a glass of wine. I started with the chicken starter and the prawn main course. And a glass of white wine. The food came at just the right time for each course, and we ordered... More

Kinvara always rates very highly with me so to be disappointed is unusual. Today the premises was cold and despite chsnging table we still had to put on our costs. Kinvara- it may be the end of sun lunch time but be aware of the temp of your premises.

I travel across the city to go to this Indian ! Attentive and friendly staff, atmosphere is cosy and warm. Met at the door with a warm welcoming. I ordered the prawns for starter and the chicken tikka masala for a main. Simply delicious! Have yet to find an Indian that can beat it ! My favourite dish and always... More
