I went here with friends with friends for some late night munchies with my friends . The menu had a lot of delicious options to choose from, and making a decision was not easy! We chose about 8different dishes between 3 of us and were stuffed after the meal! We also got a lovely bottle of house red. It was... More

Visited here in December 2014 on a Monday evening. No problem getting a seat a 5.30pm but it was full when we were leaving around 7 so definitely try and get there early as they don't take bookings. These were best tapas I've had in Dublin and they have lovely wine too! So tasty, can't wait to visit again!

I visited here on a Friday night in January. We arrived at about 6.15pm. We expected that it would be quiet and were duely given a choice of tables. By 6.30pm all the tables were full which given it was January shows how popular this place is. They don't take bookings for less than 4 people so you will just... More

You know what its like wandering around with so much choice of places to eat and yet not knowing which to choose. Thankfully when I saw the name The Port House I knew I had seen it on tripadvisor so in we went and we were not dissapointed. It was packed and very dark indeed but I suppose that added... More

This restaurant has some really great tapas, with a menu covering both the traditional dishes and some more contemporary takes on the theme. We visited on a very busy Saturday evening and despite this the food was excellent and the staff attentive without being overbearing.

I could go the whole "He Said, She Said" route, but it just makes me angry again. The bottom line was we spoke to the wrong person when we arrived in. Not that we knew this. After 30 minutes patiently waiting for a table, a different person who was actually the hostess told us it would be a 30 minute... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are so very apologetic for your unfortunate experience in our restaurant. We can assure you that we have addressed this issue and “briefed” our staff for future reference. It is so very unfortunate that you missed the first part of your gig due to the wait in our restaurant. We do hope that... More

This is my second time to this restaurant when coming to dublin for the weekend, the tapas is fantastic! So much choice on the menu, great wine to go with it, the staff are lovely and very knowledgable and it has a really nice warm, comfortable feel! A must go whether it's for lunch or a dinner.

This place does not do itself any favours when it comes to customer service! The staff are rude and unhelpful. Other than the food actually being good seeing as it is tapas after all (not the most complicated of dishes) I would not recommend this place if your are dinning with a group of more than 4.

The Port House has been a reliable spot for tapas for some time now, and a visit early on a busy New Years Eve showed that it is consistent even when the pressure is on. There is a great choice on the menu. Ours included lamb chops with grilled veg, sea bass on lentils, boquerones, pataras bravas, chickpeas with chorizo,... More
