Good staff but limited menu (for me). Not too many appetizers of interest but lots of people were enjoying the mostly Euro menu.

My wife and I eat here in March 2017. Starters at €17 was hugely overpriced. Our table was 6 inches from nearby table so you had absolutely no privacy. The main course was adequate and the wine was nice. All in all a very mediocre experience and certainly not worth the money. I had a €100 voucher which was to... More

Ignore that the restaurant is full of well heeled Americans. If you want excellent traditional Italian cooking, this Dublin institution never disappoints. On this visit we ordered beef fillet and veal (escalope and the special chop) for mains and grilled spicy shrimp and pasta with Italian sausage for our starters. For dessert - just about all the selections are worth... More

We visited the Unicorn as a party of 6, we had booked well in advance. On arriving we were shown to a table right beside the door. My partner was annoyed that we seemed to be given the table that most restaurants reserve for walk in trade. it was a cold March night and every time the door opened we... More

After a heavy Friday night for St Patrick's day we was looking for a great place to have lunch. What a fantastic find just tucked off the road. The ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant was fabulous and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem and there was as much choice as you could expect covering... Good location close to Stephens green. The food is very good. The staff are attentive. The place is let down by the pretentious atmosphere and moreover by the unnecessarily high prices

We're glad you liked the food and attention. We're not pretentious and don't have any attention of being so. We are professional and our team try to be friendly and informal but smart at the same time. We watch our prices and have to be competitive - customers want value - and we work hard to deliver that. We source... More

We were delighted with everything ; the food, the service and staff were just as I recalled when I used to frequent this place for business lunches and the occasional dinner. We were entertaining two friends prior to an evening function nearby and it proved to be ideal. Enrica, our waitress, was great fun and looked after us so well.... More

This restaurant serves delicious seafood, pasta and meat dishes. I would recommend an early dinner if you like a quiet space. The service is very attentive.

Amazing food, Gianni was a courteous and attentive host. We tried the two dine for €55 euros which included a bottle of wine. Both the service and food were way above expectation. We recommend any one in the area to try The Unicorn should they be looking for somewhere to dine. Lovely and humble business and great value for money.
