Amazing atmosphere in the place and it was decorated for Christmas which was lovely. Live music on the Sunday was good, only down side was the price of a pint at €7.50 but hey ho it was a lovely pint :-)

If you are looking for, uninhibited, genuine friendly welcome and hospitality without constipated smiles, then Ireland is the place. Temple Bar in Dublin is the place where 3 of us, me, my friend and his wife, experienced, the warmth, big smiles, jokes, and beautiful people. We specifically went to The Temple Bar to indulge in their renowned huge oysters. Between... More

I think my heading speaks for its self. The menu consists of over 100 sandwiches all of which are served with "a little treat on the side for your enjoyment" that translates to a few crisps. The Stout is decent though.

Visited this pub twice while we were in Dublin. Lovely atmosphere, great live music. Didn't try food but it looked nice :)

I hate to admit that I came here just to say I did. But I totally did. Honestly that was the reason that I picked it, sad to say. We didn't go out of the way or anything we were staying at a hotel a few blocks away. I really only wanted to have a drink but each night it... More

Centrally located, great booze, fast service. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are no TVs!!! This is a typical Irish pub for sure so bring you higher tolerance level and your love of conversation and meeting people. If you don't like crowds, stay home!

During our trip to Dublin, had to call in as it seems the place to be seen.Stopped a bite to eat in the evening, the food was okay nothing outstanding, but the drinks prices are a bit steep 10 euros for a pint and a coke.Ouch! But you have to remember where you are.The live singer was particularly good and the atmosphere is... More

Watched the NZ vs Ireland Rugby game here & it was litt! Had the most amazing time, the pub is huge! There's outdoor areas to smoke! Downfall would probably be the size of the tv screens, but otherwise good pub. Cheers Dublin :)

Temple Bar is a lively, busy, touristy place. The bartenders are attentive though clearly see thousands of people a day and are "all business." I found there was usually live music, loud music, and a lot of stag and hen parties. You have to experience once for a pint, but once is probably enough.

The Temple Bar is a great place to enjoy Irish music. The different musicians offer a great selection of songs and ballads.
