We started with pre-dinner drinks in the Oval room, which we felt lacked any atmosphere. We were asked what we wanted to drink without being given a drinks menu, which they should have done given the wide choice that they have available. The quality of...More

Had dinner here recently. Setting is very nice and the wait staff are really friendly and pleasant. The starters were fantastic and really very tasty. It all went down hill when the fillet steaks came out. Both were ordered medium and when they arrived they...More

Shanahan's is an exquisite Georgian townhouse alongside St Stephen's Green serving New York-style steaks at New York sizes. We were a party of 24 and, as such, occupied a room upstairs (normally 500 euros but this was waived, as it was quiet). The service was...More

Can't recommend this steakhouse enough. It is rather pricey so it's generally visited for special occasions or work outings but is worth the stretch. The waiters are very professional and welcoming and the food is exquisite. Keep it up!

We have visited Shanahan's on numerous occasions; it's always on our "must do" list when we visit Dublin. We always start our evening by having drinks in the Oval Office, where I could spend hours just looking at the US presidential memorabilia on the walls....More

This restaurant is in a beautiful old town home in a great location. It's probably a great place to impress your corporate clients or social climbing acquaintances. The food is good but I've had much better for much less. Even if price were no object,...More

We had a dinner here with group of 4 people. Everybody enjoyed their steak. The service was excellent. They need to work on their starters and sides.

There is no dress code but I did wear a blazer and khakis. Didn't want to look like a bum. I strongly recommend the Saddle Room instead, better food and way less expensive.

American Style Steakhouse and Seafood Restaurant featuring Certified Irish Angus beef and the freshest seafood and produce from Ireland's local bounty.

Shanahan's ethos is simple and sophisticated. Your experience begins upon arrival. Enjoy an aperitif in the Oval Office bar. Take a moment to inspect the impressive collection of memorabilia adorning the walls. Each item commemorates the U.S. Presidents with an Irish connection or ancestry. Marvel at the bar's centrepiece, JFK's rocking chair from Air Force One.

Dining in Shanahan's is a delight. The elegance of the food and service, is maintained in perfect harmony with the warmth, which personifies the Shanahan's team.
