I returned to this bar after a year and was so disappointed. I used to enjoy taking friends here but I cant recommend it anymore. €13.50 for a ridiculously small bowl of irish stew with two slices of shop-bought soda bread. The potatoes, although tastefully...More

A good large bar over three floors, unfortunately it does not serve Guiness but serves its own Porter Stout. My colleagues like their Guinness and could not get on with the Porter. Staff helpful and bars all clean but it presents itself as a bar...More

Had lunch here, basic pub fayre. If you like beer it is a brewery so some interesting choices of their own branded beers.

Nothing special, just a pub really. It's clean, the staff a friendly enough. Food and beer are OK, bit overpriced but it is in the tourist area. Nothing special, just OK.

3 floor pub, with nice deco but above all, outrageously long beer offering. Over 200 beers from around the world (USA, Belgium, Asia...) will definitely satisfy all profiles. Great place !

Great pub with several floors. Nice ambience and friendly staff. The food is good and diverse. Major attractions the drinks list. Lots of beer options from several countries and of course, the Porterhouse beers. Live music but starting a bit late. Not too expensive

Nachos consisted of hard unsalted chips with a disgusting cheese sauce, despite the menu saying they were made with real cheddar. In my view unacceptable. Service was good and drinks were nice.

My family came to the Porterhouse for dinner one Friday evening at 6pm. Luckily we were able to find a table for 5 as the place was very busy. Larger crowds of families and friends were enjoying drinks or food in a clean, friendly environment....More

I agree with Ann - the place is very big on several floors. But it's also quite crowded. So I would suggest you booking in advance.
