Had a few pints after my 70th party at the Westbury Hotel. Lovely old style Irish Pub. Have stayed at the Westbury before and always visit McDaids.

We stopped by several times for a pint. It is a classic pub. A pub has been on this site for literally hundreds of years. The guys behind the bar must have been from central casting. They were model Irish bartenders! Very friendly. Very helpful....More

I'm usually not writing bad reviews but our experience at the place was the worst experience which I had. We went with a group of 8 people ( 4 couples) to MC daids and the reaction of the barman was "f...... Tourist". After 7 years...More

Myself and a couple of friends thought we would call into this bar while we waited for the pride parade to start. We noticed the bar was fairly empty and thought it would be a good choice to get a seat in and what not....More

I took some American clients here yesterday. We had some great fun with the bar man allowing one of the Yanks to pull his own pint of Guinness. Go here. You'll enjoy it.

Located next to the Westbury Hotel and across the street from Bruxelles you are bound to run into this place if you are pub crawling. This is a nice quiet place to get a pint and the owner is very friendly.

Stumbled on this pub during a night out on a stag doo. It's just a simple drinkers pub. Well at least it is downstairs. We stayed downstairs and had a bit craic with the locals. They were very friendly and happy to have a laugh...More

This bar was recommended to us by a local. We went during a non busy time and it was still busy. Drinks were good- comparable to your average bar here in Dublin. The inside was unique I believe.

Dropped in to McDaids before the rugby and it was packed. Traditional Irish pub with walls similar to a lovely Trinity college library and good Guinness. Small but very likeable little place
