Can't recommend this place highly enough. Just spent the evening at this establishment after the Ireland vs Wales game (debacle! yes I'm Welsh) with 6 friends. We wanted to find a place to watch the Scotland England game , the management reserved a table for us with a great view of the screen . The table service was excellent and how they managed to get such great quality food out to us in such short timescales, whilst being absolutely full was remarkable . All the staff deserve a medal . Thoroughly professional in every way 👏 👌

Lovely historic pub, well situated across the road from the National Art Gallery to restore a bit of drinking time after all that culture. Wonderful building, many original Victorian fittings, fabulous high ceilings and stained glass windows. The character has been carried through to the extension. Friendly welcome from staff, table service, and homely feeling. Superb seafood chowder meant we went back for lunch another day. Good vegetarian choices, particularly the spicy vegetable stew but beware, the portions are huge.

I wanted a genuine Irish pub experience before I left Dublin. I unfortunately only had 1 meal, and I chose this place. That's a lot of pressure.. but they surely did not disappoint! I came in from the cold and rain to a warm environment made only warmer by the attentive and welcoming staff. GET THE IRISH STEW. Before today I didn't understand what was so special about their stew. Now I know: the Soda Bread. Soda bread and Irish stew are like PB&J, Ham & Cheese, Simon & Garfunkel, Thelma & Louise. They just work. There's no other explaining it. I am so happy I can remember this place as my first (and hopefully not last) pub experience in Ireland.

Very pleasant experience especially considering all of the restrictions in place at the moment. Great location to sit and watch the world go by. It's close enough to the city centre to make it easy to get to, but also just enough distance away from it to make more comfortable. The two guys providing the table service were top notch and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. They have every form of drink you could imagine and a decent menu of snacks and small meals to accompany it. Great spot!

Warm, welcoming and traditional place where you can breathe the Dublin air a stone's throw from Trinity College. Obviously an excellent choice of beers... to tell the truth there's also our Moretti (but I don't drink it in Ireland 😄), that What surprised me instead were the good and plentiful dishes. We took the traditional Irish stew (very good even if a little difficult to digest) and the seafood chowder (excellent), both dishes served with homemade bread. With two medium-sized ones we spent 39 euros (honestly, perhaps the dishes were cheaper than the beers) and if you wanted there were cheaper dishes but they still looked tasty. Courteous staff.

Went for food and drinks after work and it was great. Food was delicious and good sized portions. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Our main waiter Jess was great with checking in on us and making sure we had all we wanted and was great for knowing who in our large party had ordered what. Can't wait to go back!

We have been going to the Lincoln Inn once a week, every week for the past year. We pre-booked a table for the same time every week and our last few experiences have been bad. The last experience we had with the bar manager on duty has left us with no option but to not return. There was five in our group and one person arrived late. The table we were sitting at had four chairs so our friend took a chair from another table. There was a four seater table directly behind us with four chairs but three patrons. The last chair was holding coats. The bar manager came to our table with a bar stool and proceeded to take the chair from our friend that she had taken from another table that had no patrons sitting at it. He said the chair was reserved for a group. We were horrified that a paying patron who had ordered lunch and had been a patron on numerous occasions was asked for the chair back so that it could be put at a table with no patrons and despite that the table behind us had a free chair. We approached the bar manager who did not handle the situation well at all. He did not apologise and when we said we would not be back and to cancel our booking his response was “that’s fine”. It’s a real shock that he was happy to lose out on regular customers. It was really shocking behaviour considering we had finished even before the group who he took the chair back for had arrived. That chair sat there unused whilst our friend eat her lunch on a bar stool.

The staff are all very friendly and chatty.it was very busy and loud as you would expect for a weekend night. The toilets are down a very steep set of thin stairs, only enough room for single file and make sure you hold onto the bannisters.there is a wheelchair accessible toilet upstairs if you can't do stairs. As there was a gang of us we got a platter which consisted of chips, chicken wings, sausages, various spring roll type things, some suitable for vegetarians,it cost €40.

Go for the atmosphere and drinks, not the food. At some point on a trip to Ireland you must have Guinness stew. Here it was pretty good, not as flavorful as I would have hoped. Skip the traditional lamb stew – not much lamb or flavor.

Lincoln's Inn is just a must if you visit Dublin. It is just behind the Trinity College and in front of the National Gallery Clare Street entrance. Whether to have lunch (I've taken the traditional Irish Stew and it is delicious) or to have some drinks (there's always a cheerful and enjoyable atmosphere in and out), that's your very typical Irish bar willing to spend a nice time in. I also reckon I can breathe its years of history. It is amazing to think that from I'm writing this review to you, James Joyce could have been writing some of his books.

There wasn’t any seats so we asked if they could fit 4 for food, our server Jess did not hesitate to accommodate us. She was consistently checking to make sure everything was okay for us and also checked in for a good few chats which made our experience here so welcoming. She is a positive asset to this pub and should be praised for everything she does, thank you Jess! Will definitely be visiting again!

After a week of touring Ireland, our last evening found us in The Lincoln's Inn for dinner and what a great evening it turned out to be. Our waitress, Jess, took great care to make sure we were well served and looked after. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming and our Jess made sure our drinks came when ordered. After dinner we left for a wee walk about and came back only to be welcomed as long lost friends. Jess made our night and we will long remember our evening with her in The Lincoln's Inn!

This is a popular pub with students as the prices are very reasonable for Dublin and the food is tasty and nicely presented. Great architecture inside and the staff are hard working, friendly and accommodating. We ate twice here at each end of our Irish discovery holiday and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had such a wonderful lunch at the beginning of our tour (celeriac soup, seafood chowder, open smoked salmon sandwich, great pints) and such great service that on our last day in Ireland we had to come back and Lincoln's Inn topped the first experience with superior service during a mad rush (thanks, Nieve!!) and another delicious meal (leek and potato soup, the best Irish stew ever, and more lovely pints). This will be our mandatory stop every visit to Dublin.
