We were told this was the greatest fish and chip place in Dublin and dutifully went to try it out. It was okay.

Portions were very generous, and as pub style food goes, not bad. However leaves one yearning for something more nutritious such as a salad.

A staple in the Irish diet. Fresh fish and crunchy chips. We ordered two kinds... fresh cod and smoked cod. We all preferred the smoked cod with lots of malt vinegar. Place was packed with locals and tourist!

Two fish suppers and two waters cost almost 30 euro. The fish was very dry and hard and the chips were like the burnt ends. Inside was extremely hot and dark. Not a great experience for Dublin.

Based on the reviews and word of mouth raves, we were disappointed with our fish and chips. Soggy chips and not very tasty fish.
