Were in Nealons on Friday and although it was busy the staff were very friendly. Hadn't been in a long time but it's a nice spot for a drink and I bet they do great toastie sambos. They smelled amazing. I'll be popping by for lunch soon!

Good variety of beer, wine variety is okay... The flair and atmosphere was great, it got fuller around 500 and it was just nice, to be there surrounded by locals... Would go there again on our next Dublin visit...

Had great food for lunch today. However the service was abysmal. The guy beside us walked out as it was so slow. The waitress seemed newish, but that doesn't excuse the poor service. Food was great, lovely soup and sandwiches. The bread in the sandwiches was do fresh and tasty.

Service - alright, but not noteworthy. Pint was cold and delicious. Great location next to Henry street shopping, if you're in the neighborhood.

When the uglies at Pantibar outweigh the hot Brazilian boys, it's time to head to Nealons for a great pint in a comfortable old fashioned Dublin pub environment. I love this place

Nice food in a city centre location. I always pop in when I am in the city on business for soup and a sandwich.

I moved to Dublin in 2004 - have since moved back to Wales - and my first week in Dublin I stayed at the Ormonde Quay Hotel; that's sadly closed now. Jack Nealon's is just around the corner from Ormonde Quay on Capel Street... Nealon's was the first pub I ever visited in Ireland. Warm, friendly and a great pint... More

Popped in for a quick bite to eat as we were rushing around Dublin and just wanted a quick toasted sandwich. The bar is outdated, the staff are unwelcoming! As I went to the bar to ask for menus, the bar man barely acknowledged me and continued his conversation while handing me the menus with the man the other side of... Jack Nealon's is not far from Panti Bar, so makes the place gay friendly or straight friendly (up to you). Live music from time to time. And i will say cheap enough for a pint of Guinness. Nice small place!
