Ross and the whole team delivered a perfect lunch for my table of three. Service was relaxed but never lax and all the food was exceptional. This is modern fresh cooking of classics that allows the wonderful ingredients to shine. Love this place!

Siún and I had the tasting menu and the whole experience was exquisite. My daughter is 9 and has a keen interest in food and cooking so this was a special day. The staff made the experience a lovely memory and were very accommodating. They let us view the kitchens and explained the various sections and processes. We were treated... More

I had a fantastic lunch here just before Christmas with my husband and brother. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, staff were so friendly - in fact, it goes down as one of the all-time great meals. Can't wait to go back!

This restaurant is highly rated in Dublin so we had to visit. It deserved the rating. The meal was high quality fine dining. The service was over the top. Location was great. Reservations are necessary. Be prepared, it is pricy.

We booked our seats for Noël Coward's Private lives in the Gate (and as it's only 100m away from Chapter 1) Rang and booked the highly recommended “Pre-Theatre” special – which kicks off at 5.30pm, with the caviat "be on your way to the show by 7.15pm or the Door in the gate will be closed till intermission" hah Puns.... I've been fortunate enough to eat in many Michelin starred restaurants around the world and I would say that this is one of my favorites. Excellent choices....there are things on this menu that I have never seen on a menu anywhere else and this made the experience very interesting. Everything we had was exquisitely prepared and clearly a lot of... More

The service is excellent! Top notch but the food is just pleasant. Had very high expectation of this restaurant but it was a little let down. Compare to other fine dining with one Michelin star, I personally think it's not the best but not the worst either. Room for improvement. Great selection of good wine.

It's rare that a very expensive restaurant can be value for money, but that's what Chapter One manages to achieve. The service is fantastic. Very knowledgable about what they are doing, extremely helpful - but most importantly not overly fussy as could be expected in some fancy eateries. They strike a great balance. The food is very good, and the... More

The service here is nice, caring and well organized ; over 5 different waiters will come to your table during the evening, and this in a perfectly coordinated manner. The wine list is broad and offers a wide range of prices and wines to the glass. The 4 courses menu was excellent, although some may argue that the seasoning sometimes... More
