Well, I went into Bewley's for the first time in 10 years with my Sister and Niece in Grafton Street on Monday morning last, only to wait 10 mins until a table was free which I didn't mind. We were instructed to go upstairs and...More

The rework is very nice but the service was extremely slow. Do not come if you want to be out in 30 mins. 15 mins after we sat down our order was taken. A number of people around us left before giving an order.

My wife and I made a trip to Bewleys an our visit to Dublin. We found it very expensive, very poor service, poor quality food and little to no seating space. We will not be returning.

Two of us visited here on a weekday late afternoon. We wanted a hot chocolate and Bewley's definitely delivered on that...the most beautiful drink served with little pots of cream, chocolate curls and marshmallows. We also had a sandwich and a cherry bun..neither were amazing...More

I've been going here for 30 plus years, a primary school friends mother got us discounted food, it was basic. Thankfully 30 years later Col Campbell has reinvented value dining, I was sceptical about a €8 ham baguette but it was 30 cms long and...More

Bewley's may have been “For over 175 years ... had a special place in the heart of Dubliners.” But that special place may be just to avoid until they sort out a few problems. Recently opened after months of refurbishment it is crowded, noisy although...More

What a pity I didn’t check out reviews before I decided to bring my daughter for her Christmas breakfast this morning. Do Bewleys management read these reviews? If they do I hope they are thoroughly embarrassed, I certainly was for this iconic establishment in my...More

We've been before, but queing like cattle, herded from one queue to another with waving and gesticulation wasn't good. Once seated our order was taken promptly by a very polite waitress. We then waited over half an hour for two hot chocolates and pastries. She...More

Terrible service, in fact there was little to no service. Left waiting in a queue, rude staff. Nobody came to take order after seating ourselves. Very disappointing.

Description
Bewley’s Grafton Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic and celebrated landmarks, has reopened its doors. Following a multi-million- euro refurbishment, the much-loved cafe has been restored to create a bigger, brighter and better-than-ever customer experience. As well as serving the very best coffees and teas, many elements of the original cafe have been carefully restored including the Harry Clarke windows, the historic front facade of the cafe and the open fireplaces. There are also many new additions to the cafe including the complete refurbishment of Johnson’s Court and an expanded in-cafe bakery which will allow visitors to see some of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and bakers create the unique and delicious treats on offer, including the beautiful Bewley’s Cafe Gourmand, Coffee Opera Cake and, original favourite, the Bewley’s Mary Cake.
