My work colleague recommended 37 Dawson Street to my boyfriend and I. Upon arrival we were amazed at the really cool decor and amazing atmosphere. We got 5 tapas dishes between the two of us (Patatas Bravas, Gambas Pil Pil, Sweet Potato Wedges, Quesadillas and Calamari). The food came within fifteen minutes and was easily the best tapas we’d ever had! Also super affordable too - which often isn’t the case with tapas. The service was so friendly (much like the rest of Dublin)! There’s also a huge range of drinks thanks to the many bars.
Thank you 37 Dawson Street, it’s safe to say we definitely will be returning!

I had booked the Whiskey Bar for some food and drinks for my mother's birthday. We had a great time, the area was perfect for a party of our size (20) and the staff were incredible. The food was also great, we got a mix of the regular and vegetarian platters and everyone was complementing them. If you are looking to book an area for a small or medium sized party, I would greatly recommend here. Everything from reserving the area to the staff on the night was so easy and helpful and stress free.

My Wife & I had the most amazing lunch in the Restaurant on the 5th Nov 2022. From the second we arrived, without a reservation, we were treated to a warm welcome by a very pleasant young lady who showed us to a table upstairs. There we were introduced to a very friendly and knowledgable waiter who looked after us very well. The food and wine were just incredible and we can’t wait to return. Well done to all the Management & Staff at Lennan’s Yard for a truly five star experience *****

I was out with friends recently to chat, catch up and have a few drinks. We met up in 37 Dawson Street. The pub is ok but the music was played so loudly as to be painful on the ears. It was impossible to hold a conversation without speaking very close to another persons ear so it was only possible to speak to one person at a time. When I brought it to the attention of the barman I was told "if I didn't like it I should try another pub"
Unfortunately we had to stay in the pub since we had arranged to meet others there and had no way of contacting them to make other arrangements. My ears were ringing for days afterwards

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. Of course we never tolerate our staff acting in any way less than professional and we will look into that issue. with regards to the music, we are trying to balance a lot of different opinions and preferences and whilst yours would of been for quieter music , we often have to tell people no that we cannot turn it up all the same ! It is a balance we are always striving to perfect! We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to 37 Dawson Street in the future :)

We were very lucky to get a table here on a Saturday night as we hadn't booked in advance. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to a table.
I was told by the waiter that they didn't have a specific cocktail menu but they could basically make any cocktail we asked for. Our table of 4 certainly put that to the test - All absolutely delish!
The only downside for us was that we were seated at a table with a speaker overhead. As the night went on the music got louder and louder resulting in us not being able hear each other talk across the table.
Despite this, we'd definitely be back!

I have been to this restaurant/Pub/Disco and we had an amazing time eating tapas and drinking beer. The ambient is amazing with really good music. Staff is also really friendly and made sure we were being looked after at all times. I could not recommend this place enough!

We just popped into 37 Dawson Street by chance for lunch. It was really lovely and cosy and the decor amazing. The tapas food was delicious with so much choice on the menu. Our waitress was so helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Oh and the coffee was the best I’ve had in a long time (expresso)

Went here yesterday on the last day of our Dublin trip. We didn’t book but managed to get some seats around the bar mid afternoon and stayed there till about 10 ish. Diarmuid behind the bar is a ledge, he kept making us any kind of cocktails we wanted and they were v tasty!!! If we visit Dublin again we will deffo be back!

We attended for a hen party and we had a fantastic experience. We had our own private area and the service was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly .The group food platters were the best finger food we have ever had . Shauna the reservations manger was very accommodating and looked after all of our requests. We will definitely be back again and we would recommend for future hen parties or celebrations 🎉

Myself and my mam had a few cocktails here during the day and were greeted by the most friendly barman/server? I'm not too sure what his position was.
His name was Sean and he was so attentive and a gentleman, he's a real asset to the Bar.
Good staff are hard to find and especially after lockdown, but it's even harder to find friendly staff like him👍

A fantastic spot and great service. Returned to pick up a left behind jacket and manager (lady with blond hair) couldn’t have been more helpful and was extremely pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this bar.

Went to 37 Dawson Street with my sister last night. The bouncer refused to let us in because we were both wearing Adidas Sambas. He said ‘not tonight girls you’re a bit casual in the runners’. He proceeded to let five or six men in wearing runners. I asked him for his name and he wouldn’t give it to me. I asked him for the name of his manager also and he wouldn’t give it to me. He said: ‘you can report me all you like but I’m not going to lose my job over you’

when I travel to Dublin I always drop in for evening drinks. If you love a great night with fun people, and great music its the place to go. Drinks are reasonably priced, staff are excellent, but you need to be happy for a packed night on Friday & Saturday. Couldn't ask for more for a great night out.

Great vibe and atmosphere, the staff were very accommodating as 22 had booked previously and had ordered picky finger food. The food was excellent, the cocktails delicious and the manager and awesome girl behind the bar gave us their full attention. The music was great and brilliant vibe. The doorman were also professional which was refreshing. Would definitely recommend.

Came in here on Sunday afternoon after the rugby for some chill out time and it definitely delivered. Such lovely comfy chairs and beautiful decor - would probably have been unrecognisable the previous night (!) but based on this experience, we will return. Food was good without being overpriced. Lovely staff and great loos!
