Stopped in on our last night in Dublin. Recommend by a friend and not disappointed. Reasonably priced, clean and plenty of seating.

We called into here after the Dublin mini marathon, it also happened to be a bank holiday. Thankfully we had a table reserved. The place was heaving with only 2 bar staff working on the bar, the manager did seem to help at times but...More
I love spots like this at home. Good food and a wide variety of beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors. Best of all the brewery makes unusual and amazing drinks. I got a beer sampler and drank a lager that was lighter than any other I'd...More
Nice pub very close to Grafton street. Good choice in the menu (many dessert as well and good Italian Espresso) and friendly staff. The interior is tipically Irish, one of the nicest visited in Dublin.
Thank you very much for your review! We really appreciate your compliments and hope to see you again soon.
The pub is really beautiful and has a lot of floors to eat and have drinks. When we arrived the place was crowded and we found a table in the ground floor, thanks to a bartender who helped us, a very nice gesture even in...More
Thank you for taking the time to review Porterhouse Central, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit. Looking forward to serving you again soon.
I’ve been here before, 2009 & 2011. I went again. Why? Because they have a very interesting selection of beers; and I was hungry. That’s why. Went for the Plain Porter and it was delicious. Went for the Big Smokey Burger to go with it....More
Very sorry you didn’t enjoy the style of Chips we serve in our Porterhouse bars, but to give such an average score just on the ‘chip style’ is very unfair. Just to let you know The Porterhouse Central is actually located on Nassau street, not...More
Random selection on the sidewalk as we passed by and decided it was time to eat. Food was fine - nothing outstanding but reasonable pub grub. Fish and chips was huge - largest slab of fish I've seen done this way and really nice and...More
Thank you for your review, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your Oyster Stout & we hope you will be back to visit in the near future.
I went for beers and food here on a Tuesday night with some friends and my fiancee. The staff were professional and the service was excellent. Around the time we were thinking of leaving, the bald dj came over to us with a quiz sheet...More
Thank you for your review, we are terribly disappointed to read your review & hear of how you were treated on your visit to the bar. The DJ you have mentioned is not directly employed by the Porterhouse & was sub contracted to run the...More
This is a great pub for drinks, atmosphere , big screen for all the big sporting events but the food is beyond disgraceful. We waited over an hour for our "meal" to arrive. The burger was frozen food/ processed/ cheap and unbelievably dreadful. Slapped together...More
Visited here following recommendations from the buzz online but have to admit I was pretty disappointed. Porterhouse seems to operate similarly in style to Whetherspoons in Britain. Cheap affordable pub grub with a wide range of affordable drinks. However despite a somewhat alright service by...More
Thank you for your review, please be assured your comments regarding food have been taken on board & brought to the attention of our senior management. This is not a true representation of how we do business & we hope you will be back again.
