Upon our very first night in Dublin, we happened upon Arthur's Pub, located close to our B&B. We were so excited to experience the local Irish atmosphere and fare and were NOT disappointed! From the Guinness drafts to the chowder, burgers and chips to the outstanding customer service-we thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to Ireland and it's golden gift of hospitality!... More

Found this pub by chance and decided to have lunch here, very reasonable priced food and very large portions cooked to perfection, I went for the beef and Guinness stew and it was one of the best I have ever had, washed down with a couple of pints of Guinness (and yes it does taste different in Ireland )

Isn't it nice when the way you picture something is the way it ends up being? That was the case with this pub. Everything about it, the good beer and whiskey selection, the reasonably priced lunch menu with traditional and delicious options, down to even the fireplace in the corner made it feel like this American always thought an Irish... We went here after visiting Kilmainham Gaol . It was a good 25 minute walk. My husband had a mince meat burger and I had the curry. The curry was awesome!

Stopped in on a recommendation from a bartender at Guinness Storehouse. We had wanted to grab something to eat but the Storehouse restaurant was closing. We were really glad we ate here! It was our last night in Ireland and we hadn't had a true Irish dinner, so we ordered the Beef and Guinness stew and the Bangers and Mash.... More

We popped into Arthur's after our late morning visit to the Guinness Storehouse. Prices were reasonable and the food was very good. The portions are huge, so plan accordingly. The "Guinness and beef casserole" was tremendous; it was one of the best things I've had in Dublin so far.

We popped into Arthur's on the way back from The Storehouse for apint of the balck stuff and a bite to eat. The landlord was very friendly and chatty and looked after us from start to finish. Very very good food menu and my goats cheese salad was delicious. The pub is 2 minutes from The Storehouse and well worth... More

First few hours in Dublin and searching for some grub before going to the Guinness Storehouse and found this pub at the corner of the road. Saw they had some stew so headed in for a quick bite. So happy to have found this place! Staff was super friendly and open to helping some new tourists make some dining choices... More
