Not the greatest experience for food, although a nice environment. I ordered a Steak and Eggs option on the menu for €12.50 and instead of a cut of steak, I got small chopped up pieces of steak (at best about 4 or 5 pieces) buried under a mountain of beetroot and other vegetables. I was still hungry leaving the restaurant... More

Lunch deal 9.95 for steak baked potato topped with leek avocado and harissa. Steak was perfection. Nice glass of cote de rhone at 5.50. Excellent value. Good food. Ok service

Four of us went for a meal here whilst staying in Dublin for the New Year. We ordered the steak to share which was delicious. The side orders were large but very tasty. The problem we had was when we got the bill there was a service charge added amounting to £14 which we questioned. We were told this was... More

We went here on a recommendation and I'm so glad we did! We had a starter of the beef dripping croutons (which if I had to be picky were quite crispy) and a main of Bavette steak sharer with regular fries as a side. Cannot fault the Bavette! Unlike the previous review we were told that one side would cover... More

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend midweek. Was really looking forward to it as I'd heard good things and I was starving. Seemed like a winning combo. Unfortunately what we got was very oversized portions of mediocre food. It was also a bit on the pricey side. I've been in some of the other restaurants owned by this crowd... More

I've been there twice in 2 weeks, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times I had really great food (chicken for dinner, really well grilled, while for lunch a great tortilla), and it wasn't even really expensive. Only downside, the quantity of food! I was both times still a bit hungry when I left the place! :) Overall,... More

Ate here for my friend's birthday dinner and I was pleasantly surprised! Young, hip interior and great meat to share. Got a candle on dessert for my friend too!

As five of us desperately searched for a table for five on a busy Christmas evening I was surprised to find an available table at Bear. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor is dark and quirky, offering wooden benches and stools and other rustic chique touches. There was water on the table which is a great idea... More

We stumbled upon this place looking for a hungover breakfast and it definitely did the job. We sat by the window so I'm not sure what the main seating area was like but the area we sat in was nice enough. The breakfast menu is excellent, lots of interesting and tasty choices, the sausage with home baked beans was especially... More

After meaning to try here for ages I recently visited with two mates. We were seated immediately even though the restaurant was busy. The menu very much revolves around their different cuts of steak and the steak was very good. The real highlight of the meal however were the combination of sides and sauces. There is a good choice but... More
