Two of us had a main course and a pot of tea between us. My friend had quiche (ham and leek, I think) and side salads. I had halloumi cheese with dips and side salad. Both were tasty but, to be honest, nothing to write...More

I frequent Avoca about twice a year when I am in Dublin. Every time I have eaten here, I have left very satisfied. The menu is full and caters to all different tastes. The staff are very friendly, usually appear to be extremely busy though,...More

We had breakfast in this most interesting shop and cafe. Very friendly, excellent prices, high quality home cooked food, good helpings and reasonable prices. Spent an hour or so browsing round the shop too. Most enjoyable.

Downstairs in the cafe of Avoca today I made a resolution never to lunch there again. I appreciate that it is a busy place where many people want a quick takeaway lunch. Some may choose to sit as tables are provided . The tables remained...More
