The food here was excellent, prices were reasonable esp. the prix fixe menu. The food wasn't typical Irish fare though. We liked the casual and cozy atmosphere.

I recently had a lovely meal in the Whitefriar Grill and I must say it was one of the best meals I have had in Dublin recently. I had the steak and chocolate fondue to finish off and both were tasty and excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also good. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend a... More

Went for brunch on a Saturday - packed and very noisy. Had the heuvos rancherosand it was distinctly average -rubbery tortilla that had a weird taste, and nondescript tomato/bean mix with it plus soggy guacamole. Chicken parmigiana sandwiches were similarly unexciting, especially at €13, and waffles were ok though it was hard to say if they were fresh or out... More

My boyfriend and I went here one night for dinner while we were traveling in Dublin. The food was fantastic! I had the prosciutto stuffed pork and he had the rib eye steak. Both meals were fantastic. Two things that are important to note: (1) the restaurant was very busy so make sure you make a reservation and (2) service... More

We had been here before and remembered a perfectly cooked rib eye steak. It was repeated to perfection last week so much so that we will return this coming week! The starters, spicy crab noodle and prawn and desert of excellent cheese and a twist on banoffi complemented our meal.

Normally I don't do the whole brunch thing I believe it's an excuse to get rid of the left overs between breakfast and lunch But with a 12.5% service charge on a table over 6 persons maybe I'm the fool questioning a table turn around of an hour. The food in general was tasty however I had the Heuvos Rancheros... More

Food was good. Wait staff were wonderful. However, the manager, who at first saved my birthday,  proceeded to ruin it and humiliate me. Here is how: I had thought I booked a table for 10 for my birthday a few months ago. I booked it from Australia online. They sent an email saying that the table was reserved, but having... More

Lovely buzzy, busy place. Food is very good using fresh ingredients. Varied menu with something for everyone. Service was a little slow and we felt rushed towards the end. Would return though. Ageee with one other reviewer, wine is expensive!

My wife & I were here last night for her birthday meal. The restaurant has a lovely rustic feel to it & when we arrived it was bustling. Seated by a very polite lady who was front of house. We ordered a large glass of Argentinian Malbec each & we both went for the rib eye on the bone. Food... More

Booked by email and got a 'phone call back from a very solution oriented manager. Arrived on time on a Saturday evening and table was ready. Really good welcome and menu was very diverse and inviting. Food arrived tasting presented and very generous proportions as I was hungry going in. What I liked was there was no breads to spoil...
