As the first restaurant we visited on our visit to Dublin, the atmosphere was incredible and the drinks were great. We all ordered Toasties (sandwiches) that were really good as well.

Day 2 in Dublin called at O’Connell’s – thinking about drinks and lunch, drinks ordered I asked would they put on the F1 Qualifying seeing that they have various channels showing – this was greeted with foreign language mumbling and no effort at all to help, I left with my pint and went to The Bachelors Inn next door who... I work in the city centre and anytime we go for after work drinks which is most Friday's we go here. It's a great pub, with great drinks and great staff. The only thing is the food is not great and between us we have tried most of the menu. If you are looking for somewhere to have a drink... More

We stayed in the hostel next door and decided to stop for a drink on our way over to temple bar. It looks like a standard bar however once in there it extends far to the back with a modern two tier layout that creates a great ambiance. This pub is cheaper than temple bar with a great selection of... More

This became our local whilst we were in Dublin for 3 days! The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. I had one of the paninis, was very tasty and good value for money in a capital city. One of our party enthused about the chicken wings there! Apparently you should definitely try them, if you dont mind your mouth... More

Extremely pleasant pub. Probably not really a traditional Irish pub but none the worse for that. My wife and I popped in for drinks a few times and were always pleased we did. It looks relatively small from the outside but it's actually enormous (bit like the TARDIS my wife remarked). Stretching way back, the pub is extremely eye catching,... More

We had some of the worst service ever experienced. It started as soon as we walked in the door. We attempted to ask the bar tender where to sit for a meal but we were rudely ignored whilst the bartenders talked amongst one another. After several minutes of trying to get their attention we were lazily pointed in a direction... More

Came for a breakfast here , when 6 couples visited in April 2015 the meal then was very good . But visited here again over the new year and the food was very disappointing , food was luke warm , the toast was mouldy. when I brought it to the attention of the waitress she just replied oh right and... Have visited here a few times now for lunch. Very good value, the service is also good and there is always a seat. It can be very dark inside but that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Would recommend for soup and sandwhich.

This pub was on the way home to our hotel so we called in for a drink .The young waitress was very friendly and we were served promptley ,3 pints of guinness and an Irish coffee. The service and friendliness of the staff prompted us to order another round which again was quickly delivered, We decided to use this pub... More
