I used to go there occasionally before the closure due to the fire and was happy to notice it reopened recently. I went there Sunday (26/03/2017) and noticed that nothing has changed: the place looks the same as before the fire (only brand new) and it seems the menu is the same which is good news as I used to... Stayed next door at Jury's Inn and was told the fish and chips were outstanding. We went right at the breakfast/lunch cross over time. We opted for breakfast since they were hesitant to give the lunch menus. The breakfast was okay but not outstanding. We asked for our bread to be toasted, when it was brought out, it was not... We had dinner here during a long weekend in Dublin. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious -- hearty Irish fare for reasonable prices. We came back for breakfast due to the good reviews and it was great: the tomato relish that comes with the farmer's plate is particularly good and the scones are to die for.... More

The facade does justice to the restaurant. Nice inside and out. Service was very pleasant. Good food selection. They say they have Dublin's best fish & chips, and I don't think I would argue with them.

We stopped by this time for brunch on our arrival in the city . Still the same excellent value with pot of tea/coffee included in the breakfast menu price .The Kingfisher... More

Myself and my father went to Kingfisher Restaurant on Sunday 12th March. I had the fish n chips. Dad had the steak sandwich and chips. He also had a lovely wheat beer. Service was excellent. A nice brazilian waiter, namely, Gabrielle. Service was top notch and quick. The fish which was haddock definitely melted in my mouth. The chips were... More

Recently refurbished, it is now bright and busy, with friendly staff and prompt service. We called in every morning for breakfast, rather than eating in the Jury’s Inn opposite. They have a good selection and the quality is very good: every possible combination of cooked breakfast. The full Irish certainly sets you up for the day, but there are interesting... More

Its so good to see the kingfisher is back open. This is my favourite place to eat in Dublin. If your looking for good quality and inexpensive tasty food then look now further . Its definitely the best breakfast in Dublin. Even though its been closed for over a year when we walked in this morning our waitress Gabi seated... More
