I absolutely love this place. It is a lot different to your standard restaurant and a must try for any foodies out there. I love the decor, the staff are friendly and the food is incredible. Lots of different flavours and really interesting menu. One of my favourite places to eat in cork!

This is an expensive treat but worth every penny. Ask your server for advice as the dishes are unusual but you will be surprised and delighted with every course. Wine by the glass is expensive but by the bottle very reasonable so share a bottle. We will never visit Cork without one meal here.

Unique cuisine in a slightly less than formal setting, can't get there often enough, every time we visit the only disappointment is that we can't sample more of the menu!!!

Brought my partner here for his birthday, and was surprised by the meal - I had heard the hype but my general opinion is that, after a certain price point, there's no ROI when it comes to food. I was wrong, though. I got the 7 course tasting menu, and each course was bursting with flavour. I'm cynical when people... More

Never had such an eating experience ever. Amazing, unassuming and utterly unexpected. Fab service. I would highly recommend to people who like the element of surprise

I ate here with my wife. The restaurant is setup like eating in the front room of an old house. Very eclectic, with chef O'Connell in the kitchen at the back. We had the 5 course menu for €50. There was a good selection for each course. My wife had the ham and barley risotto to start, I had the... More

As always, worth its money as the quality of the food is very good. Friendly staff :) Even if the restaurant doesn't look like a restaurant in the beginning - still it has its own charm and makes you feel comfortable

We have been visiting the Ivory Tower probably about once a year for the last decade or so and we are really fans of the place. It’s in a lovely quirky room overlooking Oliver Plunket Street full of curiosities even the plates are vintage!! We most recently dined there on New Years Eve and went for the 8 course tasking... This is one of the only True experimental gourmet dining experiences in all of County Cork (it's in the city). Seamus O'Connell is a wizard with food - his balance of Ying & Yang, East Vs West and unexpected combinations (Shark Steak with Banana Ketchup) never fail to excite the palate with new experiences.Wide ranging but set-menu's at fixed prices,... We were invited by friends to dinner at the Ivory Tower just before Christmas. What a treat. From the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we would enjoy ourselves. The decor is arresting.
