During an overnight stay in Blarney nearby we were recommended by friends to eat here. We had tapas for 3. Only small complaint was we werent told there was only 2 of each thing in the majority of dishes. If we had known we would have ordered more of certains things. Its a great atmosphere and friendly staff and the... More

Enjoyed a wonderful bite to eat and a lovely bottle of wine in Arthur Maynes. Great to see local produce such as spiced beef on the menu. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Each time we are in cork we look out for this place It's atmosphere is perfect to share a bottle of wine and put the world to right We shared a meat board which was fine. Staff had great humour Will definitely keep returning when in Town.

Service is not great, didn't bring us water as requested, didn't bring us any plates so I had to go to the service station to get them myself. The duck spring rolls were overpowered by rich, thick sauce. Pork tacos were soupy, floating in sour cream. Meat and cheese board was my favorite part of the meal. Food has been... More

I believe the term is "tastefully done". It actually has real character, like it was designed and built with passion, and not like a marketing concept. Great atmosphere, excellent service and superb food. Go there, now.

A great spot for a quiet drink. We ordered the cheese board and some craft beers. The wine selection was also great.

The layout in a old Apothecary gives here so much character, with the old products on display and the layout not been altered. The food was nice and good selection beers, wine.

We would never have found this place if we hadn't wandered into The Bodega after 10pm one night looking for food. They gave us the "historical pubs" brochure and recommended Arthur Mayne's as they serve food until 1:30am. We didn't feel like walking that far that night, but we made sure we made it down there for dinner the next... More

Arthur Mayne's Pharmacy is a 120-year-old chemist turned wine bar. The perfect spot for an afternoon coffee and scone or for somewhere to eat in Cork, the pub's beautiful and intriguing surroundings are a welcome addition to the city's night life - even the toilets will catch your eye - but you need to arrive early if you're to guarantee yourself a seat for the evening. food is served from 1030am - 130am
