Had evening meal here with my friend. The restaurant is informal and relaxed. I am not a vegetarian but loved the food which is quite unlike any other restaurant in Cork. The service was also excellent.

After my flight from Iceland and bus journey from Dublin airport I was in dire need of reviving. The fresh, flavoursome vegetable kadai and rice was just what the doctor ordered. Can't wait to go back.

I've eaten Indian food in 4 continents and the friendly, knowledgeable staff, coupled with amazing food and a great atmosphere make Lyer's unbeatable. Thank you all. Go on, treat yourself!

Bland boring overpriced food served in a cramped space. I don't understand the reviews for here, it's as if there is a reality distortion field that destroys taste buds on Popes quay. The food isn't offensive but it's just so meh. And the prices for...More

Delicious vegetarian food. Would eat here much more frequently if the opening hours included more evenings.

Lovely lunch shared at this exceptional little restaurant. Fresh tasting, and full of flavour and spice. Lovely food and presentation. The staff and chef/owner are friendly and informative. I will definitely be back for more delicious food.

The restaurant is a hidden gem ... but probably no more! It is Indian vegetarian food at its finest. A limited range of dishes, freshly cooked ingredients, and the taste is just wonderful. Almost like home or close enough. Its south Indian massala dosas are...More

We had a fantastic lunch at Iyer's. The chilli gobi, masala dosa, pomegranate & orange cake were all delicious, and the pistachio & rose water cake was the standout. All very sharable and very friendly, helpful staff to explain the options and make recommendations. We'll...More
