I did a semester in Cork 12 years ago, so when we were visiting now I was showing my husband around to areas I remembered. We were a bit tired and needing to eat and happened to walk into side of the English Market that is nearest Cafe Anraith and the menu sounded good. I'm so glad we did. The... More

I was here on a tour bus type thing. I was kinda hungry and bought some stuff to try. A couple pieces of cake, pie, and cookies. It was all very fresh. It didn't have the most taste ever but it was good. Worth a shot.

I'm very fond of this small café in an excellent location in the English Market. When I was undergoing a bereavement I used to come here and talk with a close friend. Although the whole world was rushing past us, there was a great sense of privacy in this little place. The baking is consistently excellent with chocolate cakes to... More

Made a return visit to this very small cafe in the center of the English Market. Once again the selection of desserts was great, the fresh apple Pie was delicious, and the coffee is wonderful. Service is prompt and friendly and there is a good selection of meals on the menu for those looking for more than coffee.

While walking through the English Market with my Daughter we came accross Cafe Anraith. We decided to have a snack. It is quite small but there is a lovely atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. We had coffee and a slice of cake each. They were delicious and tasty. We will definately go back. It was good value.

We stopped here - three of us - for coffee and cake, mid morning. It is in a great spot in the bustling English market. I had a delicious fairy cake, my two companions had chocolate cake and pear tart. Service could have been a tad friendlier but it was quick. Another thing that put me off was the smell... More

I adore chocolate, but chose the lemon merengue pie, and I did not regret this. Sooooo yammie! All home made, very good quality cakes and pies. All goes well with the coffee.

A tiny café in the English market, bursting at the seams with locals & tourists. I had lunch alone - a generously filled, made to order tuna sandwich & a fresh cream cake. Friendly & fast service
