Must say this is one of the most over rated places I've ever been the chips were dry and the burgers were barely average. Make the trip to Jackie lennoxs instead

I am a regular visitor if not a "go for " from this long established fine food house. I attended the secondary school next door over 35 years ago and other than the technology and the freshened up and youthful staff faces - and maybe a few exciting additions to the extensive and varied - international take away and choice... Can't praise KC's enough. I was getting petrol as I was passing through Douglas in Cork and saw a huge line of people outside a small shop front. It turned out to be KC's chip shop. Highly recommended. The 15 minute wait in the queue was worth it. Delicious 'real' chips (not frozen) and a generous portion of fresh cod,... More

So much more than your average chipper and worth the quick moving but potentially long queue! You'll get cravings for it once you start going

Amazing food. The queue is usually super long to get in as there is no seating but worth it and fast enough service.

K.C.'s is very well known. If you don't know it, drive through Douglas some evening and look to the right, follow that queue of teenage to mid 20's lined along the footpath from the bank and they will lead you to K.C.'s. I generally go there with friends, relatives when they stay with me because they've heard about it and... More

I recently came across this small premises in Douglas. I saw a queue going back the street so i though maybe it is worth it. So i queued for over an hour. Famished i though this better be worth it. It was very much so. I placed my order of a king creole, garlic mushrooms and garlic cheesy chips. I... More
