Ques are always stretching a couple of buildings down the road, probably as it's the nicest fast food take away in Ireland, and fairly priced And large varied menu I always want to try other stuff on the menu but the king creoles are just too nice!

I've eaten here a few times over the years and can honestly say I've never had an amazing meal there. Strange how it has got such a good reputation. I'm not saying the food is bad because it's not bad, but it's definitely not as amazing as people make it out to be. What I do like about KC's is... More

This was a good place about 20 years ago. It always amazes me to see the queues here. The food is vile. The staff are full of themselves, arrogant and rude. Avoid .

Of all the new places that opened in Douglas in the last few years nobody can beat the KC it is the oldest and best and the crowds that queue outside the doors says it all

Have to say if your looking for a load of filth after a heavy night out this is the spot. Would highly recommend the Kansas City and bombshell (with extra mayo!)

There is a reason why this chipper floods the streets of Douglas. It is your upper part of the chipper style of food. The mix of Irish owners and flavours of the world is a fantastic one! I shamefully cannot count the amount of times I have stood in the rain for some KC's yumminess!! Top tip: try the king... More

Best chips ever and their curry sauce is to die for. I just love it here. Always a mental queue but it goes unbelievably quick. The chips come wrapped in paper the only way to have. You have to try this place a million times before you die

K.C's is an institution in Cork. Few places have such a dedicated following, the food is really good for what it is, highly recommended after a few pints

Ridiculously small portions. Poor chips. Lennox of Barrack St a far better option. Not worth the queuing
