Appalling service. We had reserved a table by telephone but upon arrival no table had been reserved for us. They had No trays at the self service,I had to go around and disturb eating guests and ask them for their tray. They had no glasses beside the water,I had to go behind a unstaffed bar to get glasses. They were completely... More

Hotel of a Famine. This Hotel should be Avoided at all costs if your Hungry. Our visit was the 2nd last Monday in May 2016. I had a client who is bringing over 400 guests via tours in the fall. Cork was our final stop and we arrived at 12.15pm. The hotel was quiet even though people were being transported... More

Stopped in here on Fri 13 May. We had a drink at the bar. The bar was stifling hot. My wife had a glass of wine which was good value at €5.50. They had no small bottles apparently. I hatd the pint bottle of Bulmers. First sip and then felt the bottle. It was roasting even after coming out of... More

This hotel is the worst I have visited for food both in quality and hospitality. I visited this hotel for some lunchtime food in the bar with 2 others. When we visited there was only a couple of tables occupied. Therefore I would consider it quiet in comparison to others I have been in at 1230 and there has been... More

Very disappointing visit. The restaurant lacked adequate customer service and the serving staff were very unprofessional in there appearance and customer engagement. The food lacked both taste and nutritional value as it was straight from the freezer and packet. ( the menus listing home made products was not reflected in the food served. The prices charged for the vegetarian option... More

We have been to Silver Springs many times. We've stayed there on several occasions as a couple and with our grandchildren. We loved the hotel and whenever we were looking after our grandchildren we always took them out for dinner in the hotel as a treat. So on Saturday, 6th February we got dressed up...myself, himself, granddaughter aged 7 and... More

We went to Watermarg restaurant as it was not a place we had been to in a long time. It was reasonable busy for a Saturday evening . Unfortunately we were placed in a seat where the draught from the kitchen front door and the upstairs seems to meet . Even the plants in the restaurant swayed in the breeze.... More

My partner and I won a 3 course meal for two. I am glad we don't have to pay for eating here, the floors are dirty, the walls could do with a clean and to be honest it feels like a cheap diner. The stater with salmon and prawn had a dry salad with mango and chilli, the chilli was... More
