Ted's Bakery is a local hole in the wall best known for it's Chocolate Haupia pie, this cream pie which is a favourite of locals comes in many different flavours! They also make other amazing pastries and their doughnuts looks amazing - one day i will remember not to eat all of my lunch and save room for dessert. We... More

The bakery was recommended to me so we made a few stops here throughout our stay on the north shore. There are a number of fridges with a range of drinks and the cream topped cakes/pies and a couple of cabinets full of glistening glazed cakes and pastries. if you want hot or savoury food you most likely have to... Haupia pie is all the rave here, and yet, I feel like it was good, but I've found other bakeries that I think are much better. It's a touristy thing to do to come here, so do it at least once, but then try some of the others. Even Foodland has a great Haupia pie!

We've eaten three there times in the last two days already. They give you a lot of food at a great price. There's a lot to choose from and everybody in our group found something different every time. The fresh hot glazed donuts come out at 7:15 every morning. You'll have to be there by 8 o'clock or they're gone... More

We stopped here a few times in the week we stayed at North Shore. It was convenient as it was only a couple blocks from where we were staying. Had great goodies & most were big enough to share & their chocolate haupia cream pie did not disappoint! Good coffee too! It's small so sometimes you have to wait &... More

If you are driving by, this is not a bad option to stop and get something to eat. But its not worth a long drive to get to it. What struck me was that it is a bakery, but you walk in and it doesnt feel clean, the door is covered in stickers and it doesnt smell like a bakery... More

Theoretically Ted's opens every day at 7. That could mean 7:01 or 7:10. But don't worry...it's worth the wait. Enough pastry choices that anyone could find something they liked. This is not a fancy place...just the opposite. YOu are as likely to encounter a barefoot surfer as a local on his way to work. I have grabbed breakfast there three... More

Right along the Hwy as you travel the North Shore area the parking can be limited and the line can be long, but every part is worth the wonderful food. Snack and desserts and available right away but the sandwiches and plates take a little bit of a wait for them to put together. Very close to Sunset Beach it... More

We go to Ted's every time we're on Oahu. Now, so does everybody else. Prices have gone up and the shrimp don't seem to be quite as good. Still a ton of food but a little much breading on the shrimp. The chocolate haupia pie, however, is as good as ever. And it's carried at Foodland now, too. Bonus! We'll... More

Drove by it on a couple vacations but did not really know anything about it. Did a little research and then stopped by. Wish I would have been hitting this place up on every trip to the north shore! Sweet but not too sweet and not too filling. Great snack for pre or post surfing sessions!!
