The BBQ chicken plate was awesome. Glazed donuts and apple danish were worth going back 3 days in a row.

We happened to have a local tell us about this eatery and were thrilled with Ted's Bakery... worth the drive from anywhere on Oahu! Plan to stop here on your Island Circle Trip! The Garlic shrimp is a huge portion and includes a slice of the world famous pie! Bring a friend to eat it with you?
Stopped in for some pie and donuts. It was really busy and the food all looked good. Kids enjoyed the donuts and I enjoyed the pie - sweet and coconutty. Would have liked to have gotten lunch - maybe next time :)
We ate here twice on our trip. We loved the spam breakfast sandwiches and the donuts and pie were delish each time. I ordered a BBQ pork sandwich for lunch one day and it was gross. I would only recommend this place for breakfast and pastries.
Had a giant omelette for breakfast. Tasted great. Huge portion. Great price. Customers that haven't been here before seem to be confused when trying to read the quickly changing menu board. Chocolate cream pie was great too.
They have the best spicy garlic shrimp. Every time I'm in Oahu I also stop by. Their plates are huge, yummy, and their house macaroni salad is super good too. Moco loco dishes and with the grill short ribs are also a must have..
This was our third time in Hawaii, and every time we are here we go to Ted's. Our family absolutely loves the chocolate haupia pie! We stayed in Laie this trip, which made it very convenient. Maybe too convenient as we got pie three different times! Luckily, there are plenty of fabulous hiking trails in the area to work of... More
Ted's Bakery was touted as a must-stop location by the Oahu tour app we downloaded, so we did stop and try the chocolate huapla pie, which was decent, though not completely decadent, it's got a homemade feel. They also offer simple meals and other bakery fare, coffee and cold drinks. It's a little piece of local culture, so why not... More
Often places that are 'an institution' of an area can be a let down, but I have to say Ted's have done a great job at remaining a quality place to eat. The prices are still great value (though they need to update their laminated menus...) and the portions for dinner are importantly both huge AND delicious. The macaroni that... More
Stepped in for a quick dessert after having lunch down the street. I just had a slice of chocolate cake and my partner had a chocolate macadamia cream pie. It was smooth and not too sweet. Great flavour, now I get why other people were buying entire pies. Definitely tasty pies, can't speak for anything else though.
Hello LahLahLand, We loved Ted's Bakery when we were is Oahu in march. I bought a couple of the seasonings at the store and would love to get more!!! He also had some great cooking oils etc. The shrimp at Ted's is amazing! We are way over in Michigan on the mainland and was hoping for an online store!!!
