We dropped in for drinks on a very hot day in July. Lots of pleasant outdoor seating. Good choice of wine or a flight of three beers. Very dog friendly place. Well worth a visit and close to the Woollen mill outlet.

Better than average pub food, and a great line of craft ales and lagers on tap for your lunch in Aberfoyle.

The quality of the food at the Forth Inn is much better than I expected. It was really outstanding and beautifully presented. Two of us had a gorgeous roasted salmon with veggies. Very nice. The lamb with dauphinois was excellent. The pub was very busy;...More

Right in the middle of Aberfoyle with plenty outside seating and loads of car parking spaces. Good variety on the menu but we went for paninis which came with crisps, salad, plus a bowl of soup. Good value lunch and a quick service.

Enjoyable rather old fashioned pub layout plus outside tables. Good pub food with plenty of draft beers, etc. Can get busy but usually good service. Some B&B rooms above

My husband, son and I stopped here for lunch. Our waitress, Hannah, was so friendly and accommodating of our vegan diet. She suggested the lentil soup, a veggie "toastie" (toasted sandwich) and the risotto, all vegan and all delicious. When we finished, she gave us...More

Pleasantly surprised by this pub with it's many nooks and crannies. Looks ancient and has plenty of options from indoor seating for pub grub, outdoor seating and a huge hall that can be used for local weddings, birthdays and celebrations.

The walking company we booked with Walking Across Scotland booked this establishment for us on our second night of the Rob Roy Way and it is not to be recommended if you want a quiet and peaceful night's sleep! It was SO noisy. The patrons...More
