First time visitors last night. Not the kind of place you would think of right away for a couple of vegetarians but having checked out the menu online we decided to give it a go. I liked it and was thinking about returning even before...More

Visited with some family members on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was quiet but it meant we had quick service. There were a few dishes not available from the menu and I had a slight worry when they had to check if they had any...More

We had a really enjoyable meal. We shared a starter of Calameres followed by Haddock and Chips. This was delicious totally fresh fish. Unfortunately we had no room left for desserts although the menu looked exciting. We had a coffee to finish. The house wine...More

We were staying in Ayr for one night and having read the reviews for this restaurant decided to book a table. It was a very wet, miserable, mid-week night and on arrival we were the only people in the restaurant, which stayed that way all...More

With a passion for all things fish, we thought we'd give here a try. Thankfully our initial expectation that it was a fish and chip shop was totally incorrect. Here we found both fresh fish, seafood and other dishes at really good value. Each dish...More

We love this restaurant and it is our "go to" place for lunches, dinners and even afternoon tea. They specialise in fish dishes but they serve so much more! The quality of the food is exceptional. My favourite is lobster with sirloin steak but to...More

Excellent service and delicious food. The skink soup was very good, worth the drive from Glasgow. This is our second time here, and we will return.

Welcome to Craft & Harbour, a modern, Scottish fish and chip restaurant in Ayr. We believe in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, hand-prepared and cooked to order by our chefs. We offer a range of traditional suppers and seafood options along with our homemade sauces, sides and pickles. Our kitchen offers great lunchtime dishes and we offer delicious soups, starters and sides. As a family restaurant, we are family-friendly: our kids menu will keep the little ones well-fed and the restaurants contemporary design is open and relaxed. We do, of course, have a wonderful evening setting for the quieter, special nights: the lights go down and the candles add some sparkle.
