We had read the reviews and decided to book for the whole family on sat night. There are a few different rooms for dining in, we were in one at the back. It was plain but comfortable. All 5 adults ordered a starter, the other fours looked and tasted really good. I ordered the peeled prawns with boiled egg and... More

Great food served in very clean and welcoming surroundings. Not cheap but good value as the food is fantastic. I can recommended the Fish & Chips and Chicken Curry. The Chilean Señora Rose Wine was also nice at £15.00 a bottle. The staff were very welcoming and the service via the gizmo/buzzer on the table excellent The Gents are the... More

I'm perplexed to understand why this is rated #1! On the trip advisor recommendations we booked a table Easter Sunday (today) and were surprised not only at the place (quirky but not necessarily in a good way) but to be greeted by a child (polite though she was) not very professional! The food was average, what you would expect from... More

A traditional styled Inn. Relaxed atmosphere, with spacious tables, set in a variety of locations. Wood Burner and fire add to the ambiance, but the tables nearby are hot as well !!! Staff are pleasant and welcoming. The "Ordering Gizmo" seems to be part of the local restaurant scene. Certainly means there is no delay.....and dinner was brisk. Nice starter... More

Picked this restaurant having looked around online for restaurants near Pitlochry for a weekend away. The menu looked great and the restaurant itself looked interesting with lots of different features. The reality did not disappoint - the restaurant was busy and a very pleasant place for a meal. It seems to have various different seating areas throughout the building. Despite... More

Great experience from start to finish . Staff very welcoming and allowed us to choose our own table . First difficult decision as lots of cosy corners to pick from ! Nice warm and relaxed atmosphere. Food very good quality. Another difficult decision was choosing from the dessert menu ! Would highly recommend !!

The food is always hot with generous portions. The only drawback is that the menu is a little limited and very rarely changes. Having said that I've never had a problem finding some wholesome food.

Great food in a great atmosphere and just along the road from home! Our favourite restaurant when we entertain visitors and much better than me cooking in our little kitchen. Menu is varied and its always hard to choose as there are so many items we love and their Fish and Chips takes some beating and yummy desserts to follow.... More

We had dinner on Friday night (when another reviewer claimed it was shut?) and luckily we had made a reservation as even at 6.45 the restaurant was really busy. There was a good atmosphere with attentive service, helped by a buzzer on the table to summon waiting staff whenever you needed something. The menu was quite varied, unless you are... More

Stayed wed thurs fri in the chalets which were lovely, family members were told that the inn/bar opened at 4pm with food from 5pm. We didn't see it open once and didn't really see a sign of any staff the whole time.
