Had Dinner and Lunch here recently. Service, as always, was friendly and efficient. Lovely relaxed feel about the place. Had the four course Tasting Lunch with accompanying wines. The food, as ever, was excellent, lots of little extra touches and beautifully presented. Well deserves it's...More

Went for the tasting menu with the individual wine selection for each course. Overall just lovely. Haddock tartare was amazing and staff were attentive. I would have no hesitation recommending 63 Tay Street

Amazing food. Really delicious and special dishes from the smoked meat courses to the select cheeses, rich desert and strawberry gazpacho. Wine was very good value. Service from both our waitress and maitre d' was very good and personal. Recommended

We went here to try the 5 course tasting menu which was just amazing! You can choose if you want to have the recommended wine with each plate (loved by my girlfriend) or simply have a nice drink with it on the side as I...More

We dodged heavy showers and walked to this wonderful restaurant. Pleasant environment, despite a large table Saturday night revellers. Made welcome by pleasant servers and chose to support the tasting menu with the house selection – and how well these complimented the delicious food. The...More

Delicious meal for our wedding anniversary tonight. We had the tasting menu with accompanying flight of wines and we couldn't fault it, as ever. Lovely. It's the best place to eat in Perth - great service and food every time.

We decided to try the tasting menu and weren't disappointed. From the first course of garden pea soup until the last of strawberry tart and white chocolate mousse everything was exceptional. We also ordered the wine flights to accompany each course and couldn't fault them....More

We ate here on a Saturday evening, shortly after the restaurant won it's best in Scotland award. The food was fantastic (we went for the tasting menu and accompanying wine choice which I'd recommend) but we found the service somewhat lacking and inattentive. The restaurant...More

Experienced the excellent tasting menu from Graeme Pallister for the first time. 5 courses for £45 and each one better than the last. What's more we left the restaurant replete. Each course was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. You simply must give this option...More

Description
Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.
