I am writing this review a little late on, I visited 2 moths ago, but feel I would be doing the restaurant an injustice if I did not. 63 Tay Street is regarded by many as being the best restaurant in Perth, and it is...More

My wife and I have a lovely lunch at 63 Tay Street today. The food was excellent and the service second to none. We fully recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting in the near future.

Without getting all flowery this was a fantastic meal. We were a party of 4 who had the taster menu and matching flight of wines. It could not be bettered. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive and contributed to an excellent evening out for us all....More

Disappointed . Tasting menu started off very well. However the veal dish was disastrous. Dry ,overcooked the blacklisting was also hardened. I did not eat the dish The plate was very hot I wonder had it been sitting under heat. .Sadly the initial response to...More

Dear Madam, this review was very much expected, we did on the night realise that the veal was served without enough sauce, as explained other tables who were also on the Itison deal enjoyed their 6 courses fully, so were surprised to hear repeatedly after...More

Sadly no mid week atmosphere. Tasting menu which was tiny amounts of actual menu which is lacking in choice. It's ok but disappointing and wouldn't rush back

The food was excellent but I'm afraid the service was a bit of a let down, I have dined in top class restaurants around the world and the service at this restaurant needs improving, the restaurant was not very busy and the 3 members of...More

Took my partner here for her birthday. We both did the taster menu but opted for a beer rather then the wine. We where both blown away at the place. Everything from service to the food was perfect. Each course was different and so carefully...More

We had the tasting menu, which was 5 courses. There were 3 courses of mostly unusual dishes, a few surprises and rich flavours. One or two of the courses were standard and quite ordinary. The problem? Absolutely tiny portions. To the point where we got...More

Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.
