We have been here on many occasions but would have to say we were disappointed this evening. Service was slow and other than the owner a smile seemed to be a bit of a struggle to produce. But biggest disappointment was the fish and chips....More

Come here from time to time and it’s always good and yesterday it was a nice sunny day so thought here would be best so we could sit outside and get food and drinks. Really enjoyed it. Full recommend to anyone. Be back again soon.

We are regulars at the Cawdor Tavern, and the food is always superb. I knew I would need to book for a special occasion, which I did. All tables were set out exquisitely, and they were clearly well prepared for the rush of Mother’s Day....More

Every time we go back to stay at Cawdor we have at least four meals at the Cawdor Tavern. The food is always very good with a varied menu and excellent, laid-back service. There's also an excellent wine list. We especially love the Scottish fare...More

Dogs are really welcome in the bar, not the restaurant. We never found it a problem at all, in fact the bar was quieter and cooler as it has French doors to the patio.
