Someone else put it better: lovely view from the restaurant but quite average food. I ordered a roast dinner and the quantity was generous. It was also fairly well-presented and tasted fine. There wasn’t much to complain about! My dessert (lemon meringue pie) was less...More

Good Morning, I am sorry you are not satisfied with your visit to The Ben Nevis Bar. Your meals took 30 minutes to arrive due to the kitchen being busy preparing meals for other areas of the premises. If you were unhappy with your roast...More

My husband and I called for an evening meal. The restaurant was quiet so we managed to get a window seat with a great view. Service was good and food was nice. Nothing I haven't tasted elsewhere. I would definitely go back if I was...More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I am glad you had a pleasant evening and had the opportunity to enjoy one of the best views of Loch Linnhe from Fort William

Coming in, asking to be seated, the older waitress, apparently unwilling to even show the slightest bit of professional courtesy, scoffed a 'Do you want a table or what?' at us. The general theme of unfriendlyness continued when she took our orders, recommending an ale...More

The prices are cheap which should have been the first clue. Very poor food, luke warm, tasteless and just poor quality all round. The cutlery was also dirty and the ladies toilets are a bit of a state, several of the cubicle doors wouldn't even...More

This was a great inn. Food was great and better priced than most in the Town. Staff apologised for being short staffed but we didn't notice.

We ate here yesterday after a family fun day at Nevis Range. We thought given the name of the place it would be of a good standard but sadly it was not. If you are looking for heated frozen food then this is the place...More

We decided to go here for dinner as they said they had open fires (which turned out to be gas heaters), but stayed anyway. I had the grilled salmon. The salmon was so over cooked it was chewy, the hollandaise sauce was curdled, the peas...More

Located in the centre of Fort Wiliam's pedestrianised High Street, The Ben Nevis Bar and Restaurant is one of Fort William's best pubs serving good food all day and a terrific range of beers and spirits. We stock two regular cask-conditioned ales in Fort William On street level our comfortable lounge bar has leather sofas and easy-chairs to relax in after a day's activities. Our outside deck offers amazing views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills and is a great place to hang out on a sunny evening. Upstairs we have a spacious restaurant serving a wide variety of home-cooked dishes which include lots of local sea-food, beef and venison. try our home-made burgers and a freshly-prepared, healthy side salad... We do great Thai curries according to some of our local regulars!
